jenga
Consistency is needed by Referees. Same as Football, it seems. just to add more fuel to the fire,,, we have a very consistent ref at Workington most weeks, last nights ref(v Newcastle) was a certain Mr s Wilson, who i believe lives in Workington and does not support the diamonds..oops.
Django
Track was really poor lastnight, hope it was just due to the weather as in the current climate £13 is to expensive to watch the gate & go rubbish I witnessed lastnight As has been stated by the management the track was prepared in order to take the expected downpour of water from the rain, if it had been watered then rained on then the meeting would have been called off, which you would have no doubt complained about! And the £13 entrance I believe is the 2nd cheapest in the league so perhaps be thankful for that, not constantly complaining. Plenty of tracks in this league are gate and go, just look at our away matches this year, you have seen plenty of real racing from the Comets at Derwent Park already this season, lets give the track team credit for getting the meeting completed
JayZee
£13 is the cheapest in British Speedway when you look at the fact you get a racecard as well. Skoobie do you actually go to speedway or just sit behind your keyboard using up your brain cell!

I paid for my race card (£1.50, I think) but for entry & programme its the cheapest I have been to this season.
skoobie
What does it matter if its the cheapest or most expensive, if the racing is rubbish people won't pay to go!
Django
There were loads of good racing and passing in the first two fixtures which the weather prevented in the 3rd, you clearly aren't a fan, just a whinger! Oh and what about your comments about Tero being a reserve??? Proving you a bit wrong now isn't he?
GM
Well I truly think they did a great job preparing the track. If they had prepared it in the normal way we would have had no racing because it would have been waterlogged. People forget the track has only just thawed out its only the third meeting and the weather has been shocking so no complaints from me. I'm not saying I would not be complaining in a months time if the track did not improve but come on give them a break. Have to also say it was great how fast the meeting was run on Saturday even with Newcastle using R/R so much better time wise
Halifaxtiger
What does it matter if its the cheapest or most expensive, if the racing is rubbish people won't pay to go! True. But everyone knows that weather conditions significantly affect track preparation. Cut the promotion a bit of slack, they did well to even get the meeting on.
