StevePark
Diamonds on twitter non to happy with ref?? Few riders saying they were robbed?? Any reason?? Lewis done for "touching the tapes" when he seemed not to? Diamonds gated in heat 15 (on a 5-1) and it was stopped for an "unsatistactory start" when it seemed that it was a perfect start? Decent away point for the Diamonds, but we must go to Redcar and get a draw or better and win both home matches by the necessary margins to top the group. Lewis could be the find of the season. And Richie rode a brilliant four laps to keep the Comets behind him and Lewis in heat 9.
NJC71
Don't think we need to win at Redcar. A point will do as long as we take maximum points at home.

skoobie
Track was really poor lastnight, hope it was just due to the weather as in the current climate £13 is to expensive to watch the gate & go rubbish I witnessed lastnight

Diamonds gated in heat 15 (on a 5-1) and it was stopped for an "unsatistactory start" when it seemed that it was a perfect start? From where I was standing (albeit not with the best of views) the referee got both of those calls wrong. I am also not sure why Robson got warned in heat 1 on the second time he jumped the start, not the first. Track was really poor lastnight, hope it was just due to the weather as in the current climate £13 is to expensive to watch the gate & go rubbish I witnessed lastnight It wasn't good but I think that was excusable as I was astonished that the match even went ahead (at certain southern tracks, it would have been cancelled about 11am). I stayed over in Kendal and it rained from 4pm onwards and all the way to the stadium, where it was still raining (admittedly, only spitting). All weather forecasts predicted rain, so preparing the track for racing would have meant that a postponement would have been more likely. As it was, I think the Workington promotion and all the riders deserve some credit for putting the paying spectator first.

Newcastle are a strong side and will be even stronger when Andrew Tully returns as his r/r points only totalled 5pts. Lewis Kerr is a great prospect and could prove to be the Diamonds improved rider that helps them towards League success.
StevePark
Nothing about Robson getting a flyer then after being pulled up twice in heat , I was replying to a specific post, which is why I didn't mention any other incident. I think the problem is (as you've mentioned it), some Ref's will let things go, whilst others will not. I.e. a Ref might give a warning to a rider for moving (not only was Robbo warned, but I think it was Aarnio in heat 6 as well) and then letting it go by just ordering a re-run later and other Ref's will exclude a rider for doing same. The White Knight
Consistency is needed by Referees. Same as Football, it seems.
