screm
The only way Davey will answer his critics,me included,is to score points on track.Trouble is as others have said hes had six seasons over here and never got anywhere near a respectable average.Heres hoping the break from speedway has done him good and he will prove a decent signing for the Bears. I hope Mitch goses well and show u keyboard warriors what he can do. Pray God forgive me for expressing an opinion.
luluthetiger
Can I ask what these much-quoted "six seasons" are? Mitch certainly didn't ride last year (he wasn't even living here) he missed chunks of 2011 and was certainly out of action with a back injury for most of an earlier year. He's 23, making a comeback in a tough league. Give him a chance! Edited April 11, 2013 by luluthetiger
JCookie
Davey isn't much cop but i'd rather give him a go than Jerran Hart. Hart seems to flit in and out of speedway whereas at least with Davey his career basically rests on this spot so he'll be trying.

He rode in the Julie Lewis meeting at Redcar and scored nine points, mind you it was a National League standard meeting.
topaz325
Started off well with a win and looked on the pace, worth persevering with.
marron
Davey did his job last night. We can't be expecting a rider on his average to do much more than 3-5 points at home - it's up to the heat leaders to take the pressure off the reserves.....not heap it on.
SCB
How long do I have to wait to be wowed? To be impressed? To have to eat my words? I believe Mitchells Redcar carer looks like this, 3000000000. Impressive!
junior fan
And I bet he really needs a gobbler like you to tell him that. Junior Edited April 19, 2013 by junior fan

frigbo
It's disgraceful that British Speedway still finds time to entertain riders like Mitchell Davey. There have been countless foreign riders who are sub-standard but shift around from team to team, without ever improving. The PL isn't about being a meal-ticket for the likes of Davey, Jade Mudgway, Max Dilger, Alex Edberg etc. Two seasons or over 21, averaging less then 5 - get rid!
