John Ernest Holland Posted April 17, 2013 Report Share Posted April 17, 2013 with many of the worlds best riders not racing in the uk most elite teams have only one real quality rider plus a decent second heat leader if a team has injuries to one or both i dont see any alternative to using guest riders otherwise a team is going to be hammered every meeting and like most fans i want close racing not 5-1 every heat and it makes no sense to compare speedway to football squads when most in the top division have as many as 25 to 30 players and huge wage bills the speedway equivalent would be a squad of 10 riders which no team not even poole could afford Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
