We got a new hero already Paul? I'm just about to finish my work then empty all the warm clothes from my wardrobe for the journey down the East coast

Aye if last night was anything to go by , he's going to be a star

He done well when he wasn't looking behind him! Hopefully the new boys can build on their performances! Thought young Joe looked OK too!

Joey displayed more confidence than I've seen from most Tigers' first timers at Armadale.

Can't wait to see him at Ashfield.

Love it Paulco..... Joey Ringwood loyal, haven,t seen him race yet and am a member already

Heading down shortly alway's enjoy my trip's to Berwick good bunch of fan's and meeting up with my fellow Tiggerati on the 3rd bend / Back Straight not expecting too much from the meeting as really the LC is merely a bedding in for the league campaign starting and for our new boy's to find there feet .

I always will look to join anything that ends in Loyal ;) if you know what i mean

Will be nice to see fans like you paul, bring loads of money, might be to drown your sorrows, or if you are ever the optimist, to celebrate. See you in the B&G.

the lack of grip and dirt on the track means berwic k shoot themselves in the foot every week....ie newcomers seeing gate and go race after race won't be inspired to come back!!!

get some dirt on the track and stop the yawns.....soul destroying

Be careful what you say, the forum police dont like anything slightly negative to be said about the club.

the forum police can kiss my a**

surely people can recognise that dirt is needed??? or have certain riders asked for a slick track??

No they dont, the track is perfect, faultless, one of the best in world speedway according to one member. You make your own judgements on that one.

Glasgow pretty poor, Screen and Grieves apart. James Wright's 2 from 4 rides was deplorable, gave up at the first bend when comprehensibly outgated, other than the heat he jumped the start. Bager did ok but stubbornly stuck to the inside every heat despite the dirt moving out.

The 3 newbies found the going tough against the fast starting home riders. Bellego again reminded us of what an excellent rider he is growing into and even calamity Edberg managed to get amongst the points, perhaps reflecting the lack of opposition in some heats.

Could be a close one tomorrow at Ashfield, and Glasgow will be acutely aware they must win their home matches with such an inexperienced bottom end.

I'm not saying I disagree with you, but there was an interesting discussion of Facebook which included ex-riders and current riders.

The question as was about whether or not tracks need dirt for good racing.

Almost every rider that posted had track shape as the most important factor.

Some talked against a lot of dirt.

Some said track shape and a slick track.

None mentioned lots of dirt.

Don't shoot the messenger.
