skoobie
Now that mason has had his visa refused I think the comets need to sign a replacement ASAP, a national league guest is never going to work in a team that IMO already had to long of a tail, the problem is who do we sign, maybe out of what's left Ritchie Hawkings would be the best bet, Any ideas? Brujas Espanolas
What is the reason for his visa being refused? Cheers. He was unable to obtain the required GBE. The reasons for this are rarely made public, as are the specific criteria used in these cases.
FrankThePug
The bit I don't understand is what's changed in a year for him to now have a visa refused, when he was given the all clear last year

FrankThePug
May not be speedway related at all, but perhaps the rules have changed across the board in regards to employing foreigners. But I'm not aware of him having as much of a coloured past as another young Australian who is riding here this year
Brujas Espanolas
What's GBE please? A Governing Body Endorsement (GBE) is required for all non-European Economic Area (EEA) nationals to be employed in British Speedway. Without this the required visa will not be issued. I hope this helps.

skoobie
I really fear for this comets team now, especially on the road, we already were riding with 4 reserves, Chris mills is simply not good enough! They would of been better giving Craig Branney a call, at least he's just a stone throw away from the track!
