Preview for this meeting below:

Devils Are Next Targets For Witches

The Ipswich 'Sackers' Witches return to their normal Thursday race night this week and will face the Plymouth 'St Blazey MX, Drive Revive' Devils in a League Cup fixture. Plymouth have a new promotion and a new-look team this year. Ty Proctor replaces Ben Barker in the number one slot and the experienced Mark Lemon has joined them from Newcastle. They will be ably supported by skipper Cory Gathercole, Swede Ricky Kling and ex-witch Chris Schramm who always gives 110%.

After two tough meetings against Rye House over Easter weekend the Ipswich riders now have a few laps under their belts and number one Ben Barker will be extra keen to lead his team to victory over the team he rode for last year! Witches team manager Pete Simmons is expecting stronger opposition from the Devils this year but is targeting all three League Cups points to ensure his team progress in this competition.

Ipswich Speedway Supporters Club would like to remind under 16's that they can still join the Junior Witches for the early season discount price of £4 if they sign up on Thursday. Just drop in to the hut on the second bend or download an application form from our page on the website. Also don't forget our monthly quiz returns next Wednesday (April 10th); Kesgrave Social Club, start time 7:30pm.
