Danish Speedway On Tv

"This match is the total opposite of last night. Hardly edge of the seat stuff :)" Low key is always the operative word with Denmark. The picture is superb and "the price is right"

Going back to last night, i still can't get over the post meeting celebration of Grigori Laguta. I don't recall EVER seeing a rider so pumped about his team winning. The way he interacted with the Smederna fans was a sight to behold. I think they'll want him back next year??

Think that was a change wasn't it??

No Rasmus Jensen was scheduled to be in the heat. His jacket number is 4 and i saw it. Also the commentators frequently mentioned his name during the race.

Unless they are as mental as Danish caption guys I would say that is a certainty :)

Greg is without doubt a world class rider.

Yep, riders scores confirm that. Trying to pick the bones out of the commentary but got that one wrong. (it happens ;) )

Nicki always seems like he has fleas. He is always making jerky movements and fiddling with his crotch

I've always presumed he was a cyborg and having the odd short-circuit or two.

And it makes him sweat a lot  The only rider with his own personal "hairdryer on cold" valet. :t:

Over the years I have seen so many riders who have a particular routine at the start line. You could write a book about the things they do before EVERY race. From Chris Louis and his clutch fiddling to Mark Courtney and touching whatever he had around his neck under his leathers...............the list goes on and on. One day someone will list them, but I'm not sure that it would have much of an audience.

Fjelsted could do with a much needed 5-1 in the next heat but that will depend on Skornicki holding Jensen in third, presuming Kildmand wins of course.

Ken McKinlay always adjusted his goggles and gloves going down the back straight steering the bike with his knees. This was before a race, not during it

Here's a stat to chew over during this 'thrilling' match: Every heat advantage so far has gone to the team off 1 and 3.

Hmmm so it has but i can match that.....every heat loss so far has gone to the team off 2 and 4! ;)
