manchesterpaul
If Zorro don't ride tonight I doubt that he will do so tomorrow. Surprisingly he is riding tonight for his Swedish club in the play-offs but whether that will leave him fit to ride in Denmark remains to be seen as he is far from fit. Zorro only ride two heats and from what I've heard with the double header semifinal next week, it wouldn't be a good idea to ride in Denmark tomorrow and Vetlanda on Friday. We shall see though speedway riders more often then not decides to ride despite not being fit.

manchesterpaul
Only just got home and starting to check various sources. The first one says Adam Skornicki is replacing him in the line-up which should leave the teams as below. With the return match next Wednesday there are five valuable points up for grabs. It's going to be a very keenly contested match and they are expecting a good crowd with positioning in the final at stake. Although good crowd in speedway is relative as they average 1,010 spectators. brandonbee48
Hi folks, Slightly better weather in Denmark than we have here today. Absolument persistently raining all day. Still over the moon about that meeting last night in Sweden. Best of the season? Right up there anyway.
pandorum
good crowd by look of it. Nice stream as usual.
manchesterpaul
Looks a little blustery, here we go with Nicki in the first race TV camera struggling to get a shot with two riders in no matter what position of the riders, very strung out. Such a long delay for a restart, it was just Klindt getting a roller wasn't it, nothing wrong with the starting mechanism? If the Danish thread was done as the Swedish one split into weeks i'd be having a quick look to see if this is the usual standard of racing at Fjelsted. Hope it gets considerably better. brandonbee48
All 3 races so far have featured the Pole " Spreadoutski" BIG gaps between winner and 4th place. Kildemand kept Nicki honest in heat
manchesterpaul
Great line-up for heat 4. Pedersen, Andersen, Hougaard and Kildemand we should get a race out of that.

Not much going on at the pit gate, I assume there was a problem at the gate/track grade (?). These are the times I wish I could understand the commentators. brandonbee48
Pandorum. When you are over here virtually every restaurant and cafe,, from Starbucks down to "mom n pop" have Wi-Fi, so for a 99 cent coffee you can plonk yourself down and fire up the lap-top. That's if you have time!
manchesterpaul
Surely the graphics before the race didn't show Nicki Pedersen as riding in that heat lol...it was Simon Neilsen.

Oh yes they did. You don't expect them to go through a meeting without a cock-up do you mate???

That's if you have time! Yeah Alan I know there is plenty of wifi but don't wanna lug a lap top around to much as our sightseeing is gonna be pretty busy as most places only there for a day or so. Only LA where we are there for 5 days. If there is a match late at night I will watch but during the day will be too busy. Sunday night first night in New York will be drinks in Dick Manitoba's bar in Alphabet City hopefully the punk legend will be there too as it would be great to have a chat with him. Dictators Manifest Destiny is a classic punk/rock album. This match is the total opposite of last night. Hardly edge of the seat stuff Surely the graphics before the race didn't show Nicki Pedersen as riding in that heat lol...it was Simon Neilsen. Blame it on the strength of the cannabis in that area
manchesterpaul
And another graphics mess-up this heat has number 4 race jacket in yellow = the programmed Rasmus Jensen and not as the graphics say Simon Nielsen. He on a roll now no stopping him lol. Nicki beaten two times out of three now.!
brandonbee48
Peter Kildemand is very entertaining and has a totally distinctive "all over the place" style. Worked well there to subdue Nicki.
