kitten2502
Any Brummies fans out there wishing to travel to see the lads tackle a Premier League outfit? BSSC are looking to run a minibus up to Owlerton and need more bodies (preferably live ones!!) to make it happen. Sheffield is a big, fast track which should suit Smoli & Nico. So, for BSSC Members it'll cost a £10 for transport, non members only £12.50. Call Sue on the hotline 07897 556676 between 7pm - 10pm for more details/to book your seat. I REALLY want to go - so please don't let me down!!
stevebrum
Wonder how many will moan at the price/team strength/team effort and not go.
Nigel
Wonder how many will moan at the price/team strength/team effort and not go. They could go and watch darts, cheapest tickets at £20 plus or better still they could take a holiday in Cyprus... give them plenty to moan about!!!
kitten2502
Well the supporters club couldn't rustle up enough interest to make the trip viable - so is anyone travelling from Brum with spare car space to offer a lift there & back? Obviously fuel cost covered. Really want to go - so would appreciate any help

Brummie Kev
Only an inter-league challenge I know but hope the lads put a good show on. Have no idea on the Brummies riding order but my guess is: King Doyley Ricky Josh Ben Nico Smoli Stay Safe lads, ready for the Bee's tomorrow! Phil
i think this should be a good meeting with the Sheffield riders wanting to give it a go against the EL riders. Steady for sure is not going to want to be beating on his new home track.
brum_57
EXTRA EXTRA The Brummies put both reserves in heat 15 of a meaningless challenge match SHOCK HORROR PROBE Non attending speedway fans predict this is the end of the sport as we know it! As a non attending fan I am shocked and offended on behalf of the supporters who attended and forked out their hard earned cash. Kev.
OdsalBoy
Sheffield were opened up like a tin of beans last night. Haines = woeful Knight = woeful Koppe = woeful Albin = looked promising Stead = as expected Hall = unlucky/ woeful Wells = ok/ woeful

Charlieboy
We are not expecting to win many early season, just need to get leaue cup out of the way sort any problems and move on from there.Give the lads a chance then make changes as necessary.Dissapointed to get hammered but expected it really. Adrian Brownell
steady wont get beat by many in preimier league albin really tries was so good to watch as well haines was miles off pace but was our our best last year hally was so unlucky looked like 2 punctures wells was quick out off gate but seems to defend instead of racing away koppe got better as time went on but dont think sheffield is his track knight was just slow but birmingham did look good
mdmc82
It was an El team v Pl team so birmingham were always going to be the winners. Wouldnt worry too much if i was a sheffield supporter.
Brummiestormer
C'mon Tigers fans wasn't it your first hit out? We were terrible in our first match against Belle Vue but it's best to get the gremlins out in a meaningless match which i actually enjoyed and Albin against Covatti was a crackin race. Good luck for the new season--Sheffield is always a great place to visit :-)
luluthetiger
Agree on Heat 8 -- Albin just never gave up, what a great race. Every Sheffield rider (except little Joe, and we know he's got it in him) contributed something to show he can do the business. Tigers got to blow away their cobwebs against an Elite League squad, will be better for it at Leicester and next Thursday against the champions. spin king
I don't think anyone should look too much into this meeting. The Birmingham team had 5 Premier League number one's in their top 5 (Danny King would be classed as a number 1). I prefer to give the team 8 to 12 meetings to see how they go. Lets give it a bit more time rather than one meeting where we riding a standard of team that we won't face in the league.
