Mr Ore
Superb issue this week. Enough to get any speedway fan salivating for the beginning of the season. Congrats to all involved Agree it is certainly impressive and so big. I had real difficulty hiding it under my coat before sneaking past security at the Littlehampton Tescos. Well worth the fine and criminal record IMHO.

SCB
Just reading through the star now and there's done wonderful comments. First we have the claim from Richard Frost that BV have a stronger tip end than Eastbourne. So that's BV who's 3rd heat leader Mrockza who averaged 6.44 with bonus points while Eastbourbes 6th rider, Lukas Dryml averaged 6.56 lol. And BVs second heat leader got his average as a second string Then there's Jason Attwoods claim that Kauko is a steal on a 4 point average as he was riding in heat 15s last year. Well firstly he's a 5 point man and secondly you can't pick out two heat 15s and ignore all the riders that dropped his average lol. I've not got past the BV page yet but expect more amusing comments on every page!
keef robin
Superb edition as usual...liked the more detailed Grand Prix review this year, no list of past champions and cup winners this year though?
MrMungo
Great read, as always. What impressed me the most was the super quick delivery. I had completly forgotten about it until I saw the thread here. Placed an order on the website on Friday afternoon - had it on my door step first thing Saturday morning! If only Amazon were half as quick!
PHILIPRISING
I DIDN'T actually see a copy until about an hour before I left hotel in NZ to start the long journey home. Was perfect for the 27-hour flight! I can actually be objective here. Apart from sanctioning the cost of such a mammoth edition I had nothing to do with it. But I would like to publicly show appreciation and the utmost respect for what is after all a relatively small team managed to achieve, both in terms of content and appearance. I know of many other publications of a lesser size that would have required many more people to get the job done. I am proud of it and them and happy to say so. And, of course, if you missed out (and many did because of the postponed meetings) it is still available by calling 020-83351113.

blueherb777
This weeks SS is quite refreshing in the way it has reformatted its articles IMO. Agree like it a lot.And what it does seem to do is get you to read more articles, where before I may have not read some.IMHO.

oldtimer
Don't like the new layout at all. You have to search through it for your teams news instead of being able to go straight to it. No logo beside the team news and two or three items about the same club in two or three different places instead of all together. Please go back to old format.
PHILIPRISING
YOU can have a look at how Speedway Star was laid out 55 years ago by accessing this week's 74-page speedwayXtra at speedwaystar.net. Some great picture spreads from Western Springs there as well.
SarahLapworth
I think the new layout looks very smart and moving with the times. By scrapping the club sections you have to read more of the articles rather than skip to your teams section. Liked the spread about the Ice racing. Phil - why not give a full page each week to the 2 junior leagues
