Polish League Query

Can anyone confirm the following from the Speedway FAQ website is true:

 

"The actual gate sequence used during the match is determined by the team captain winning the toss of a coin prior to the start."

 

So same gate column all the way through as opposed to UK with our choice for first or last heat?

so basically there is a toss before the start and the winners have choice of starting on 1 and 3 or 2 and 4 and the 2 nominated races are programmed as well.

Not exactly ... There is a coin toss during riders presentation before the match and it determines "zestaw 1" or "zestaw 2" will be used ... Teames/riders have nothing to say/choose ...

Thanks for the clarification-the coin toss has given us some entertainment in the past,i think it was last season the Polish ref tossed the coin,it went on the floor and down the drain !!!
