Dragons Get Underway In Some Style !

Recommended Posts

After a 2012 of Practice/Training disappointment due to the weather, the Club kicked off it's 2013 campaign with a fantastic days riding at the superbly prepared Norfolk Arena on Sunday.

An impressive turn out when considering what was going on elsewhere around the country all succeeded in blowing away the cobwebs, while King's Lynn Young Stars, Shane Hazleden, Lewis Rose and Shane Waldron looked well and truly up to speed and raring to get stuck into the new season.

Teenage sensation Robert Lambert was absolutely flying and will most definitely be one to watch out for wherever he decides to ply his trade once he turns fifteen while another youngster that caught the eye was Ollie Weldrick, who started shakily but grew in confidence steadily throughout the session before turning in some very quick and stylish laps towards the end of the day, keep an eye out for this young whippa-snappa !!

We must say a huge thanks to Buster Chapman and Mick Daw who between them produced an awesome track for us considering that the previous night it had seen fifteen Stock Car races take place on it !!!! Absolutely top job, much appreciated ;o)

So now we turn our attentions to our history making first event at the Arena Essex Raceway on THURSDAY 21st March. We would like to convey our gratitude to Jon Cook and Gerald Richter who have been nothing less than fantastic in their support of what we do and are looking forward to hosting our next event.

Spaces are still available if you wish to join us and take on one of the most technical circuits in the country, just contact Julie Tutton on 01633 858899 or 07920 002785 to reserve your place.

See you there, Russ
