Jonno
I have finally managed to remove the centre nut on my clutch but can't seem to get the thing off! Any suggestions???
Topcat
Use a couple of bits of wood and gently tap/lever the basket off by sliding them down the back. Give the basket a good dose of WD 40 first, bike on it's side spraying on the inside round all the centre slots of the shaft.
Jonno
Thanks topcat that sounds like a plan. I am taking it off to replace the basket bearing. Any ideas what's the best way to get the old bearing out or do you need a press/puller? Cheers
paul90210
take the circlip out and tap the bearing till it comes out. when putting the new one in try heating the basket up slightly, that should help to get it in easier.
