Darcy Showing What A Pro He Is Again

Fair post, except for the fact that nobody at poole is thinking he's doing fine. He needs to wake up, and you are very right, Matt is the voice of reason. A little word also from Jason Crump might not also go amiss. Ang on a minute tho, what about all these thousands of imagrants who storm this country, surely, some of those must have criminal records of some discription, and they get escorted into the country!! So that would be double standards. As for Neil, he's been mis-quoted...

The first half of that post made sense Starman...

Surely we would be reading articles everywhere emanating from Middleditch that he had been mis-quoted if that was actually the case

Unfortunately not though...(read into that what you will)

Having said that, I understand that he did make some cryptic twitter comment about horses which is obviously very topical at the moment, but does not help much..

I'd like to think Middleditch has been misquoted, because if he really means that Ward's behavior is a reflection of what most young people do then that makes all young people, not only drunks, drug takers, and idiots who mix these with uninsured vehicles but also participants in sex assault cases. Its no wonder faith is lost in the youth of today when they are given the name and reputation of this kind of stuff. Not ALL youngsters are the same, just idiotic ones like Ward. I hope never to see him in the UK again.

I haven't read through all of this thread, so if any of this has already been said sorry for repeating!!

Says who?

Would take one hell of a 'misquote' to change that statement around.

Or are you accusing the reporter of lying?

MIddleditch himself has said he is misquoted, I asked him why a paper such as the echo would do that espoecially given the close relationship and pages of cover they give to Poole Speedway.

The Echo and journalist in question have come out and sand they stand by the story and all quotes.....

What a couple of knobs Middlo and Ward are. Any top footballer, rugger bugger, or cricketer etc., would be serving a lenghty ban. Terrible role model for a family sport that is fast going down the boghole in this country. Ban him from the UK. Such a talent but will he ever grow up? Trouble follows him around.

Riders have been banned in the past, including a world champion (gary havelock) for. substance use. Comments on social network sites have led to bans / reprimands , so what makes darcy ward so special that he appears to avoid punishment?Hopefully his visa appication will be turned down.Yes, he is a phenomenal talent on a speedway bike and good to watch but do we want to be seen to condone the actions of a young man with dubious morals just because he can race a speedway bike?

Just to add my theory, I think if it was anybody else caught smoking weed/drink driving then I don't think there would be too many eyelids batted, however the very fact it's darcy ward automatically makes peoples opinions change on the matter, cos lets face it, not many people like him

Does anyone know if Darcy has to declare his conviction every time he enters the UK? If so, it could lead to some scary waits every time he tries to get back in, if he meets the wrong immigration officer or pisses the wrong one of they could tell him to go home.

Let's face it that is a pretty poor theory you have there

Why you having a go at me?

I'm not having a go at you, just your theory.Which appears to be saying this is all a fuss about nothing and you are blowing it out of proportion because it is darcy.you might as well add that everyone is doing it,just to back up Middlo.Sorry, but at least Matt Ford has recognised this isn't a fuss about nothing
