screm
RANDOM drug tests are carried out periodically at SGP events. No one, other than the Jury President at the event, knows that the tests will take place. Three riders at each SGP are randomly chosen by the Jury to be tested for alcohol immediately after the Saturday riders' briefing. Wonder who the other two will be.

pandorum
Middleditch should be sacked from his role as National Manager, in no other sport would he be allowed to continue after such comments. It's a mickey mouse position that nobody really cares about so comparing it to other sports where the national team has some importance is a bit daft. His comments were moronic but nobody wants to do the job so if the BSPA sack him it would make them look even more silly than they are looking already. Phil Morris would do it i`m sure and would do a good job.
SteveLyric2
Yes.I wonder if someone knows with whom or where Lindbäck was staying when in England?Don't suppose he would also be bunking at Chez Middlo? Antonio did not stay with Middlo, (although he might if he comes over now!! ) he was put up at one of his sponsors. Incidentally, many riders have stayed at Middlo's place - not just Poole riders either! Edited February 21, 2013 by Skidder1

Ipswich Jules
Havvy - Drugs - Banned Lee - Drugs - Banned Bird - Drugs - Banned Ward - Drugs - .................................................................................? Are our Speedway Authorities - CONSISTENT??? Jason Doyle Drink Driving Is he banned? I know that Drink and Drugs both start with the same letter, but surely even you can see that the three examples given are all drug related, and your question is about drink? Silly KKS! Oh and in reply to White Knight, when have they ever been consistent? They have changed rules to keep Ward here as he's "box office" and needed in UK speedway - apparently - He won't get banned by the powers that be if he gets let in to the country that's for certain.

screm
Reading this thread and you would think Middleditch was the one that had been done for drugs, drink and other offences. The only thing he seems guilty of his a daft comment he made in the local papers. Its Darcy Ward thats the drug taking plonky.
Arson fire
Ive just answered your question.. only once skidder gave you the answer, then you followed up with your usual type of post you normally reserve for backup for shovvy Btw your making an absolute breast of yourself on these threads.... Just saying Reading this thread and you would think Middleditch was the one that had been done for drugs, drink and other offences. The only thing he seems guilty of his a daft comment he made in the local papers. Its Darcy Ward thats the drug taking plonky. think it all started from starmans blinkered defence of the Indefendable..... All because he don't know right from wrong, oh and he supports Poole
bigcatdiary
does anybody know the date the offences took place, as I was wondering if this would have a knock on effect with drug tests etc, surely there is a time limit as to how long cannabis stays in the blood stream? Reliably informed its 2 weeks
gaptooth
Makes Lewis look like a decent chap, after all he was hung drawn and quartered on here for a scrap outside a nightclub and here we have a drug taking, drink driver who also went up on serious sex offences( ok he was let off but no smoke etc) How Neil can condone it god only knows. Ward should not be granted a visa and Neil should step down as gb manager. Step forward King Roscoe. Full marks for Matt Ford, at least he engaged brain before opening gob.
BWitcher
Misquoted.. Says who? Would take one hell of a 'misquote' to change that statement around. Or are you accusing the reporter of lying?
Chris Brown
Because it sells papers. Just like the crappy Nationals.... Duh.. I get a Duh! From the chap that hasnspent the last 24 hours trying to convince us that Middleditch has said nothing wrong ! I think that deserves a great big DUH ! I still wonder if all this 'Ward needs help' stuff will be taken out of his hands when he walks up to the desk at Heathrow. People who were guilty of what he done would not be allowed entry to Australia so I see no reason to accept them here Very sad but unless something radical happens he isn't going to change, why should he, those around him think he is doing just fine. Thanks goodness for Matt Ford actually being the voice of reason here

Thanks goodness for Matt Ford actually being the voice of reason here Fair post, except for the fact that nobody at poole is thinking he's doing fine. He needs to wake up, and you are very right, Matt is the voice of reason. A little word also from Jason Crump might not also go amiss. Ang on a minute tho, what about all these thousands of imagrants who storm this country, surely, some of those must have criminal records of some discription, and they get escorted into the country!! So that would be double standards. As for Neil, he's been mis-quoted...
stevebrum
As for Neil, he's been mis-quoted... And should make a statement to that fact if indeed that is correct (i hope that is true because i hope he doesn't think its ok for kids to take drugs) because the quote is defaming his name.
