spanner47
Interesting to see the GP prices for Chris after his dreadful injuries. Paddy power 5/1, bet 365 11/1 Skybet (a more realistic) 20/1, obviously Tai has been cut with the last 2, bit still 4/1 with PP, EW1,2. 1/3 ODDS. mickthemuppet
Who as these people ? on here it's only you and you have been taken to task and made to look stupid on the subject ...unless you can back it up with any logic that makes it any different to any other bet then it's best you give it a rest I think you missed what my posting was saying . They can lay odds on two individual scorers but cannot give odds on the match. Its like saying we will lay you odds the first goalscorer and not on either team in a football match. As I said who are these people ? bar you I can't think of anyone who reckons they are . i admit it was a bit strange if they did not put match odds up but i guess they had there reasons . ABS
The Spineless people we call Bookmakers are at it again. Tonight's speedway match Eastbourne v Peterborough is covered by three bookmakers only at 19.00 Bet 365 are so brave offering odds on scores on Bjarne Pedersen and Kenneth Bjerre but no match odds. As most people know these are mugs bets. Yesterday I had £220 bets on the Coventry v Poole match. Due to heat 15 not taking place 4 of my 6 bets were voided and one bet was Coventry +5.5 was voided by Betwin yet they paid me on scratch on Coventry. I would like to pass on a message to Chis Holder as say get well soon as that means much more than if I win or lose Within an e-mail I received from BWin, is their rules governing Friday's meeting: The relevant excerpt in regards to the evaluation of the above bets can be found on our websie or at the following link provided for your convenience: https://help.bwin.com/general-information/legal-matters/general-terms-and-conditions/sports-betting-special-rules/speedway "1.) All meeting bets apply to a specific number of heats, generally 15. If a meeting is abandoned and 12 or more heats have been completed at the time of abandonment then all bets will be settled on the official result. If less than 12 heats have been completed at the time of abandonment then all bets will be void. This also applies to Handicap bets." So, it looks like a genuine error in settling and if you haven't been paid out on Cov +5.5, contact BWin and I'm sure they'll amend accordingly. hasta la vista
Anyone who expects that Coventry v Poole handicap bet to be settled is off their mind. No one can predict the score of heat 15, if it was a 5-1 or 5-0 to Cov all you Poole backers lose, but it never happened so nobody will ever know. Official results can be declared after 10 heats now so how the hell can a handicap be settled as it's unlikey to be established by then?! We all have to expect all 15 heats to be completed to be paid unless it has been established at the point of the official result being declared. This is the fairest way on both sides. mickthemuppet
Betwin paid my handicap bet yesterday. much to my surprise. But my bet was Coventry with 6.5 start so what ever the result of heat 15 was it made no difference If heat 15 had been run Poole could only have scored 3 as they only had one rider. hasta la vista
Ok your handicap bet is different as Poole were getting the start with most books not Coventry but you undertstand the point.

I once lost on a Peterborough vs Ipswich rain effected meeting. i had backed Peterborough at something like -12 and they were 10 up after heat 12 and the meeting was ended. The bookies (bet 365) said it was a loss as a result had been declared. There rules agreed with this too. It down to each bookies rules ultimately. spanner47
Cant pick between the Danes and the Poles for the SWC, nor can the bookies. But thanks to sporting index being way behind the news (as usual), there's plenty of money to be made selling those teams that will be crap. The Swedes and Russians are falling in price, and the Aussies are now favs for 3rd. Luckily i got on early, i just love SWC week, it's an excuse to print money, unless there's miracle. The Danes and Poles are not tightly matched. Nicki Pedersen or Jarek Hampel = Nicki Pedersen Niels Kristian Iversen or Tomas Gollob = Niels Kristian Iversen Kenneth Bjerre or Kasprzak = Kasprazak (Although Bjerre's gating may help him at Prague) Michael Jepsen Jensen or Janowski = Michael Jepsen Jensen
