The Know
Pedersen i think, ward will go well but not sure he will last a full season at this level. holder should be in with a shout. like to see tomaz do well. greg i think has hung around for one year to many and will go backwards. Poole 1-2 IMO. Either could win it. could this be the turbo t--s un doing ? lets see who stuffs who first. Ward is far quicker than holder. pandorum
Sayfutdinov will never be better than Pedersen. Sayfutdinov has been better than Nicki on loads of occasions as have many people. Hell I like Nicki P but your comment is utterly stupid. Ward is far quicker than holder. DW would be a real threat if he could gate consistently and he'll find it a little more difficult to overtake against the calibre of GP riders compared to what he faces in the EL each week!! But you're right it will be a much different 'dynamic' in the GP pit area this season. Edited February 11, 2013 by Skidder1

Gavan
Poole 1-2 IMO. Either could win it. nice to see a poole fan having an unbiased opinion....................oops yes they could be 1-2. will they? doubt it. Ward will find life far tougher than he can imagine, Holder can gate. Its ok Darcy flying past average riders in our elite league but lets see how easy it is to get past the Nickis and Gollobs of this world. im not saying he cant do it as he is a sensational rider. Can see him over riding trying to hard as well. Top 6 would be a good start for Darcy and build from there. A future world champ if he cuts out all the off track shenanigans!! Panthers89
1. Holder 2. Hampel 3. Ward 4. Nicki P 5. Hancock 6. Emil 7. Lindback 8. Vaculik 9. AJ 10. Freddy 11. Gollob 12. Niels 13. KK 14. Tai 15. Zagar
T.N.T.
Ladbrokes are offering the following odds: Darcy Ward 7/2 Chris Holder 4/1 Nicki Pedersen 6/1 Tomasz Gollob 7/1 Emil Sayfutdinov 8/1 Greg Hancock 10/1 Jaroslaw Hampel 12/1 Antonio Lindback 14/1 Andreas Jonsson 20/1 Niels-Kristian Iversen 25/1 Fredrik Lindgren 33/1 Krzysztof Kasprzak 33/1 Martin Vaculik 66/1 Matej Zagar 66/1 Tai Woffinden 150/1 It would be no suprise for any of thee riders to make at least one rostrum place this season, but to be World Champion you really have to have 2 or 3 brilliant rounds, 8 or 9 good rounds and accept you may have a few that dont go according to plan. I think CHRIS HOLDER will retain the title as he is more of the complete rider while NICKI PEDERSEN will be his main challenger as Darcy will make mistakes in a few rounds and possibly get caught out just how hard this is going to be. Even the easiest race, if he misses the gate he would have to pass Zagar, Kasprzak and Woffinden when you go by the odds. EMIL SAYFUTDINOV and DARCY WARD will be the challengers to these two and I fully expect ANTONIO LINDBACK to carry on his good form too with a consistant GREG HANCOCK should complete the top six. After those ...... could be any order !!

Gearhead
Pedersen Safutinov Ward I'm not too sure about Holder with the pressure of being WC,I think Lindback may well finish above him As for the old, guard of Gollob/Hancock,I think they might slip down the order a little

Eglese 19
I think Holder, Pedersen and Lindback could battle it out this year. It's pretty impossible to predict though, there's nothing ruling out Gollob returning to form and Greg is extremely consistent for the most part so may well win his title back. I'd like to see Tai do well but he's certainly up against it.

He was asked for his opinion and gave it dunno why his is any less valid than anyone else. This Poole nonsense has gone on far too long. So Ward is a worthless scroat but he is a damn good speedway rider. I would not put it past him to be in the top two and Holder to repeat last years feat. The old guard will have something to say about that I am sure but it's good to see the young turks in the mix. Should be interesting. Hunty
Id put money on Lindback, he showed in the later stages of last years GP that he can win! Hes got something that lad!
T.N.T.
It really is going to be a hard season ahead for this years title and I have broken them down into catergories. COULD BE CHAMPION Chris Holder, Nicki Pedersen, Emil Sayfutdinov and Darcy Ward COULD BE ON THE ROSTRUM Antonio Lindback, Greg Hancock BEST OF THE REST - TOP 8 FINISH ? Fredrik Lindgren, Tomasz Gollob, Matej Zagar, Jarek Hampel JUST NOT MAKING IT Martin Vaculik, Andreas Jonsson, Krzysztof Kasprzak, Tai Woffinden, Niels K Iversen Whoever does miss out on he top 8, I hope they go through the qualifiers this year as the only riders I could see go into the series are possibly Michael Jepsen Jensen, Janusz Kolodiej and Grigory Laguta

Yep i think he will be a contender this year, ended 12 very well and always been quick. As long as its not a aussie at the top i will be a happy chap.
