pirateandi
What Happened to the swindon boys ? Full of hot before the meeting and not one gets a sniff of the rostrum !
Panthers89
So Harris fails AGAIN. Quel surprise. And in his home country. Let's hope he takes a leaf out of Iversen's book and never relies on a Wild Card ever again. I won't hold my breath.    You remarked earlier that BSI are happy with their current British quota. Surely they won't waste one of the places on Harris AGAIN will they? I can see them using his fifth place here as an excuse to get him back in, but I hope they see sense.  If next years line up is as follows, I'll be very happy;  1. Tai Woffinden 2. Emil Sayfutdinov 3. Jarek Hampel 4. Nicki Pedersen 5. Niels Kristian Iversen 6. Greg Hancock 7. Matej Zagar 8. Tomasz Gollob 9. Krzystof Kasprzak 10. Kenneth Bjerre 11. Martin Smolinski 12. Chris Holder 13. Darcy Ward 14. Andreas Jonsson 15. Grigory Laguta  JT. I'd be happy enough with that but cant see Ward missing out on top 8, so swap his place for a Dudek/Janowski..... T.N.T.
Iversen looks set to finish in the top 8, so Martin Smolinski will be in the 2014 Series once NKI is assured of a top 8 place   KK is now assured of a place next year but is 20 points off the top 8 (Holder) but only 11 points behind 9th placed Gollob ... If KK grabs 8th spot, then Bomber gets in !!
2ndbendbeerhut
Harris to get wild card as not allowed a run off with Smolinksi, only fair isn't it?

LagutaRacingFan
Please not AJ or Freddie Lindgren who are both diabolical and past their sell by date. Â Jonasson who got further than both Lindgren and AJ who were both too lazy to do the qualifiers so he deserves the wild-card
PHILIPRISING
CANNOT see Gollob getting a wild card. MJJ? Three Danes already and he hardly enhanced his reputation tonight. Does AJ want it enough? Not sure. Laguta did his cause considerable harm at the FIM by pulling out of SWC. Â Maybe Dudek or Janowski, who is a much better rider on tracks outside the UK as he proved in the SWC.

Ghostwalker
Oh dear, same old garbage again sadly. I know they qualified but think its time it was freshened up a bit now as sick of seeing all the same tired old faces that do nothing year after year. Â The likes of Bjerre, KK, Lindgren, Lindback, AJ etc have all been in it many times & r well passed their sell by date. Â Look at how the young guns like Emil, Tai & Darcy have illuminated the sport this year?? If it wasn't for them 3 the series would have been pretty poor to say the least. Â Do away with qualifying & get some fresh faces in as picks like the Laguta's, MJJ, Dudek, Pawlicki's, Janowski etc. Â Would much rather watch these young guys battling with a few older heads like Nicki P & Greg than the usual dross. Â And Smolinski?? Gotta be favourite to be lowest points scorer ever surely?? Worst GP rider since Zorro. Â I disagree regarding Bjerre, he had one poor season but rode pretty good the other years. In case you have you have forgotten, he did lead the series after a couple of rounds in 2010. Sure its a couple of years ago but I do think that he still is a good rider. Hunty
Starting to annoy me on here how people run down certain riders who have produced some of the best stuff! We dont know how they will do next year but the fact is if they put in the effort to get in this year the fully deserve it (What effort Harris has put in i dont know). Â My point regarding Smolinski really, hes changed everything this year and he is having great sucsess! He is currently european grass track champion! How on earth people are putting the tag of worse GP rider in history for next year is beyond me! He has been a reverlation at Perry Barr this year and is proberbly the main reason why they sit near the top! Â Tell you some people need to praise great achivements on here before they start knock people down next year without a clutch being dropped!
2ndbendbeerhut
Liked the old challenge where riders 9-15 were with the "best" from that season. Tonight shows that KK, Niels, Bjerre, Harris are the best of the rest at GP level. Can have a good night and be up there but also just as likely to score 4's and 5's.... Â YOU keep repeating yourself. Cannot think of one reason why BSI and the FIM would want Harris included in preference to a number of other riders. Tai is carry the Union Jack quite adequately on his own.
muirspud
Think alot depends on wether Hancock or Gollob retires after this series and weather either or both be in the top 8 etc. Â Holder is gonna need a wildcard and deserves his as he would of been a definet to be in the top 8 anyway. Some swede, wether FL,AJ etc World U21 champ if has expierence on the world stage or MJ, or MJJ etc. Exciting rider who will give it everything!

Iversen is fifth in the Grand Prix series, with a good chance of finishing on the rostrum. Hardly 'the best of the rest'. Only once has he scored under 7 points this season. He's a totally different class to Harris nowadays.  Hunty is right regarding Smolinski, at least the bloke has actually bothered to change the way he approaches the sport and has put in the hard yards this season.  JT.  AND while you keep hammering Harris, he did score 10 points, was (I believe) leading at least once when a race was stopped, and probably fared better than any other British rider would have done. One thing you get from CH is 100 per cent effort. That may not be good enough but on a personal level he certainly doesn't deserve the abuse he gets on here.
LagutaRacingFan
Harris deserves a wild-card, He's just lost on countback! Â Extremely unlucky that their isn't a race-off and Bomber gives it 100% every race and providing he invests in new equipment, I can see him right up there!
