foamfence
It's a surprise to me too, if you look on the MCF website, they are involved in all types of motorcycle events.

TonyE
The accompanying action photos are predominently Premier League.
Noodles
I noticed this on Twitter but the website doesnt say much. I've read the rules on there but it says nothing about rolling averages, loan agreements or 2 riders from top

bobh
Pictures on their website feature PL riders. Could it be an individual series for top PL men? If so would be very interesting....lets hope.
obrien48
Sounds very interesting, like a GP series for UK riders!
Bavarian
They could make this some kind of an Overseas Championship Series in contrast to the new Continental European Championship. A UK series with the top British, Aussie and American riders would be nice.
BigRackBandit
Sounds a good idea, I'd imagine that all the Brits excluding the boys who ride abroad, would be keen to take part in a series like this?

A UK series with the top British, Aussie and American riders would be nice. Why not keep this as a totally British rider championship. Give the lads a chance, instead of paying over the odds appearance money for some over the top riders on a meal ticket. Enough of them in the Elite at present who dont care about anyone but themselves. This is an ideal opportunity to bring through the British talent and let the fans see them, associate with them and get behind them.
ballinger
Is this series going to run the auspices of the SCB ? Edited January 19, 2013 by ballinger
mac101
The mcf are now running a lot of the big mx and racing events in uk now they are a different federation more modern bringing it into the 20th century and run in competion with the acu/ sacu so can't see the SCB or the acu liking it but can't really do much about it and could mabe see a few more events being run by they a lot cheaper for clubs and riders
SCB
The mcf are now running a lot of the big mx and racing events in uk now they are a different federation more modern bringing it into the 20th century and run in competion with the acu/ sacu so can't see the SCB or the acu liking it but can't really do much about it and could mabe see a few more events being run by they a lot cheaper for clubs and riders I thought that part of a rider SCB/ACU license stipulated they could not ride unless a meeting was sanctioned by them? It's how the Poles stop their riders racing over here. riders need permission from their license holder to race elsewhere. Yes riders can race in this series but they'll be banned from racing in the EL, PL and NL won't they?
Vince
There was a long running dispute between the ACU and the AMCA many years ago about the ACU not letting their riders compete in other events. The outcome was that it was judged illegal and that riders could not have their licences withdrawn for competing with a different federation. mac101
The mcf issue there own licence and in mx you ride with mcf licence in there events and acu events use acu licences but can get day licence to use in any of there events Edited January 20, 2013 by mac101
Deano
Why are people assuming it's not been approved/sanctioned by the BSPA? Sounds like a good idea. Be interesting to see what level it is aimed at, ie Premier League, Elite or both or even an opportunity to get the best in the world over who wouldn't normally want to commit to the British League. Gollob or Hancock anyone? Edited January 20, 2013 by Deano
