Hi everyone,

Superb picture, Panther2006, Weather looks great and the crowd looks good. Now all we have to do is stay awake. Alan.

This really is a great setting. Such a shame if it proves to be the last one here .Let's hope that it is a packed crowd. Hope (western) springs eternal. :t:

Spoke to my son earlier who flew there from Wellington ......sold out of programmes over 2hrs before the start

= bigger crowd than expected or they were cautious on the amount of programmes they printed! I trust it the former of the two.

Weeee! initial glance at the crowd very good.

We getting an Australasian commentary right now here in the UK.

Cough! Cough! forget the Sahara sand over the UK right now the dust clouds from the Auckland track billowing over here.

Bomber starts as he means to go on!!!

He was praying before the race too, maybe he should become a Satanist.

Heartwarming to see early good racing, Buckley has spent an awful lot of money over the last few years. I don't think it's a set standard price to stage a GP??? and he seems to have been charged a fair amount?

Heat 4, Ouch would have expected Woffinden and Hampel to finish 1st and 2nd not 4th and 3rd. Looked more than an injury issue for Tai as in the bike wasn't fast enough?

Good racing over the first 4. They,ll need the water wagon, but so far it's good. Smolinski looked fast. Missing Emil

Is Emil missing the SGP? Is Emil regretful?

Thought i recognized the voice lol, Jason Crump the co-commentator

It still amazes me how some riders seem continually oblivious as to where to ride on the track.

Its blatant that you have to hold the inside tight, yet Freddie Lindgren (who is one of the worst culprits for this) couldn't figure this out until Smolinski had overtaken him.

Don't knock it Alan, I've had a bit on Bunyan to get over 2 points, almost there.

Great ride from Smolinski there, well done Martin.

Pleased for you my friend. 1 more point and you're in the money. :t: Super meeting so far, with the form book out the window. (Except for Bomber!! )

In the wake of the Russian wrong helmet fiasco have Kasprzak and Hampel swapped bodies!

We got UK commentary back and very nice to hear Scott Nicholls again.

Well done Tai holding on to second place it wasn't a case of gating into that position and then it not possible for a rider to overtake, he had to battle throughout. Oh Yeah Holy Smoli.

I would have thought first bend bunching was the case in the re-run but not the first attempt!
