Triple.H.
The ideal would be a mini-tour of Australasia with promoters involved in a combined undertaking as a joint promotional venture. Possibly two meetings in Australia (one on east coast, the other on the west coast) then moving on to New Zealand. Possibly staged late February early March with meetings on three consecutive weekends. Or is this a ludicrous idea on my part? Wouldn't it would be better to do Western Australia Eastern Australia NZ preceded of course by a round in Florida and a week later in California before heading to the southern hemisphere. It is afterall a World Championship maybe IMG need to put their hands in their pockets and start speculating a little more.Clever marketing and decent pricing should get bums on seats.
Fromafar
Hats off to Jason Crump superb commentary and expert analysing of the race without even raising his voice, unlike the screaming banshee who will be back in place for next meeting.
Humphrey Appleby
It is afterall a World Championship maybe IMG need to put their hands in their pockets and start speculating a little more. Â Why would they? All they need to do is fulfil their contractual commitments with respect to the FIM and television, so why speculate on risky ventures and risk their profit margins? Hodgy
Harris ought to do the decent thing and quit the GPS', he is not doing himself any favours, and he is making British Speedway a laughing stock. Â He is a good league rider, and can give s lot of decent advice to up and coming riders, but please, stop embarrassing yourself on the world's stage. You haven't got it anymore. It's all about the money money money - in my opinion. I couldn't ever dis Harris after giving me one of my best nights in Speedway. In addition to many other meetings he has entertained, be it at track or on TV. He has proved he has the ability, apart from gating, as many suffer. Just doesn't seem to have fast bikes - I always think that comes down to finances. Â But hey, have a good laugh, stick in the knife - sure he's feeling great about it. At least he wants to give it a go. There are ways to voice an opinion.
SCB
Just doesn't seem to have fast bikes - I always think that comes down to finances. in 2007, IMO, Chris Harris was one of if not the fastest rider in the World. Then in the winter he start making changes for the sake of it and look where it got him..... Changes stuff every winter, then has to star again in March only to pick up by the end of the season just before changing everything. waiheke1
Â Â Â I thought Parramatta was a loss maker, but I need to be careful on my comments - they seem to attract much attention. So Parramatta was as has happened to poor old Bill Buckley. How does Bill manage to afford the top American sprint car and midget car drivers each season - they don't travel or race for peanuts. gustix - you cant really compare the car speedway with the speedway gp. he gets a dozen car meetings a season, so while there is some track maintenance for each meeting, he's not doing a total track relay before and after an event. He's also not having to pay inscription fees to BSI. So that's the two major costs of hosting the speedway gp gone. I'd imagine that he's at least breaking even on the cars, and surprised if he's not making a profit, though clearly he loves the sport. He will do a lot better in other rounds he never seems to track the large tracks and none are bigger than Auckland. Gavan
Cant believe ive actually read what Darcy is saying! Â Suggesting Smolinski should have a 'yellow card' for what happened Saturday!!!! Â Pure racing incident he hit a rut!! Daft statement from Ward
Sotonian
Ward's rattled because he's realized he isn't as good as he thought he was.

Daft statement from Ward  Yes I saw that. it is as you say a very strange thing to say. Poor Smolinski never stood a chance of avoiding Ward, once his bike took off he was just a passenger. Hodgy
Certainly no intent from Smolinski, unlucky to hit the rut and take off. Thought Woffinden on Gollob in the last 2013 GP was more desperate - but that goes down as a racing incident.

Edward Barrett
Â Â But hey, have a good laugh, stick in the knife - sure he's feeling great about it. At least he wants to give it a go. There are ways to voice an opinion. I was not having a laugh or sticking the knife in, yes I could have worded my last sentence differently, but I voice my opinion as I see it. Â There is a big difference between the GPS' and league racing, sadly he just has not got that "something" for the former. Â In league racing he is still a force to be reckoned with, and when he has guested for us he's given his all, unlike other guests we've had. Â Hope that clears that up. iris123
Put it on here before that imo Harris only got in by bending or breaking the rules. That is in the past now and he is there.Saw a number of comments on Facebook(mainly from Denmark)along similar lines of "get him out" or "he has got to go..".No big fan,but after just one meeting i think all the talk is a little bit premature.Have to hope he somehow gets things together and puts up a decent show.We have no-one else at the mo. Grachan
Don't forget, also, that Harris is in there partly because a few riders decided not to be. And he can't be blamed for that.
