Polish Tv Coverage In 2013

Recommended Posts

Have TVP been awarded the rights to cover the Polish Extraliga again next year? Also will Canal+ Sports continue with coverage of the SGP/SWC meetings?

I heard that there was competition from other Polish TV networks. Any news on what the latest situation is please?

Also, will the successful broadcaster be transmitting on a HD channel next year, or will it be standard definition only?

This is a google translation of a sportowefakty article today

I still do not know which TV will show the matches of the season Enea Ekstraliga 2013. Our service, however, was able to determine what will need to meet the criteria.

Despite the emerging belief, the decision regarding the sale of television rights to Speedway Ekstraliga 2013 season has not yet been made. I do not know which TV shows the best league in the world meet. But we know that will be posed requirements.

The right to apply for broadcast television realted and NC + (a combination of the N and Canal +). All offers are financially comparable. Speedway Ekstraliga authorities, however, it is not so much about the money as the quality of the transmission that particular TV are able to guarantee. NC + is now in a position to guarantee the highest quality media. Speedway Extraliga requires that all meetings were shown in HD. The stadium is to be installed a minimum of eight cameras. The novelty will be the studio that we know even of the Grand Prix. In general diagram showing the meeting is to be taken from the Grand Prix.

The first competition was the best offer Polsat, which offered 8 million in three years. One thing is certain. Money at the moment are higher than those proposed by Polsat, but it is not known what amount in question. I do not know well how the money will be divided between the clubs. About all the partners decide Ekstraliga Speedway.

Although a decision has not been made, all indications are that the authorities will want to Speedway Ekstraliga benefit from the experience and scope of Canal + TVN. NC + is particularly close to that from January 1, Canal +, ITI and TVN will constitute a group. TV expect that some of the meetings to be shown on Saturday. Interestingly want to use athletes to promote meetings. If the choice falls on NC + is a promotional platform will TVN and ITI-related programs. Players and their families have to appear in lifestyle programs. Each round will be ended magazine, which will be summarized all the meetings. It is not inconceivable that some of the matches will be shown on TVN Turbo. Recall that in the ITI group includes, among others channel TVN, TVN Seven, TVN Style and TVN 24 The novelty is to be part of players and their families in the programs implemented by the TV. Attempt to how the speedway to participate in the promotion of speedway, was the appearance of Tomasz Gollob in the program Good Morning TVN aired on December 7. Milestone in the promotion of speedway to be an annex to the agreement, which will set out the details of the promotion rules meetings Speedway Ekstraliga

Very interesting...so it looks like TVP are out of the equation. I wonder if they are calling it quits with the sport or if they might do what ITV did when there was no Premier League football on offer, and show lower league ( Liga 1) action instead? Pure speculation but it would be good.

Polish speedway on Canal+ in HD would be awesome.

What puzzles me though is the complexity of what was said. Canal+ Sport is part of the Canal+ empire, syndicated around Poland by Cyfra+, which just like Sky in the UK syndicates all the other channels mentioned too. - http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/cyfra.html

Still it looks like C+ holds the aces over Polsat. Polsat doesn't yet have a dedicated sports channel, let alone one in HD, which seems to be the aim of the PZM to secure. If it heads C+'s way I won't mind in the slightest, as I receive that channel on satellite, and not only is their coverage excellent, but their lady presenter is gawgeous! lol

It would be a shame if TVP are out of the picture as their coverage is excellent, however as long as the streamers stream the action i will be happy. :approve:

I state "the pledge of allegiance" to the streamers every day and twice a day during the season! :t::rofl:

All the best. Alan.

I hope it's TVP as I've been getting this for a few years using a "Telewisja na Karte" in a Sat Receiver. This year it cost £25.50 for 6 months which for an oldie like me is good value.
