Mark
Races 1 2 and 3 were from the gate but at least Nicki P livened up heat 4. Edited May 4, 2013 by marky
jimmy jimmy
It does look somewhat empty? Why wouldn't the Swedish fans travel to Gothenburg?
manchesterpaul
How and why are we still doing GP's around this place..... Glad we had a good race there, as i was about to say after the high of Bydgoszcz last time out any new fans would be put off by Gothenburg and, unless they have truly changed the track, Prague next time. Way to kill momentum or what? lol. Let's hope we get more good racing tonight and Prague has a new raceable track. pandorum
Crowd is awful. I bet they get more in for a fire drill. Not just Beckham but the local Lesbian Collective as the startline girls. Like to see Nicki getting stroppy at the start one of them could rip his head off from the neck and still hold the gate board.

One in particular looks a right odd bod makes Bjork seem normal. Edited May 4, 2013 by manchesterpaul
2ndbendbeerhut
Gone from one of the best Gp's last time to one of the worst. Suppose it can only get better................ Why would the locals go to watch the "racing" though, nice stadium doesn't mean nice track though! As for Nige and Kelv, anyone else think they are more informative for a general viewer? MrBeanti
I don't understand how its financially viable? Id imagine the atmosphere is pretty awful aswell. But its dry at least

manchesterpaul
50 minutes in 4 heats completed! The 'heat' girl is the hottest by far and i reckon she likes men.
Kester
As for Nige and Kelv, anyone else think they are more informative for a general viewer? I agree, I'm quite enjoying their chatting, far more informative and entertaining than Keith Huewen drawing blindingly obvious comments out of the likes of Ermelenko and Nicholls. mickthemuppet
Where are the pits situated in the middle of the street? Gee even the passers-by have no interest and shuffle by without a glance. No team in Cardiff but 40,000+ Agree totally on Malilla, i mentioned recently i'd prefer a packed atmospheric Malilla than a cavernous yodel-able Ullevi There is a slight difference Ullevi had a long tradition where World Finals have been staged there since 1964. Goteberg has a population of 1000,000 more than Cardiff and has staged more world finals than anywhere except Wembley. So sad that the gate must be about 5,000 and probably Speedway will never ever be staged here again Edited May 4, 2013 by mickthemuppet
Panthers89
Do the Monster lot in the pits do anything, or are they just 'latch ons' a genuine question. Typical Ward, doesn't know when to take a point, and tries to hard, don't get me wrong.... rather have a rider like that, but theres a limit. manchesterpaul
Not sure that NIgel and Kelvin would make good journalists. It's great that they make a big meal of good crowds and racing but no comment at all on quite a big talking point that is the sparse crowd. God that vicious jerking movement could have been very nasty for Darcy, glad he's moving. Do agree that Kelvin is being very informative these days regards informing viewers of racing technique etc. Edited May 4, 2013 by manchesterpaul
speedcrazy
That could be a broken shoulder or collar bone with that heavy impact on tthe track.
manchesterpaul
Uh Oh don't these two have history! Good to see the handshake at the end, i was wondering if one of them would lose sight of the fact sometimes bumping and banging without malicious intent happens in a hard race. Bradford Ace
Who in god's name makes the decision year on year to return to this dump?? The racing is abysmal every yr & u could fit the crowd in my front room!! Bit of a come down from Bydgoszcz & surely we'll never see another GP here?? And to think they binned Malilla off the calendar & kept one here, appalling.

noggin
Why do riders have to go back to the pits having only ridden a matter of metres, ludicrous and making a poor GP even more tedious.
TheSmiler
Best move they've made putting Woffinden in the series. He's on such good form!
