And soon with poor music, lack of smell and the price of the programme people will stop going to Somerset* as they did Newport. Then what? *change for track of your choice, they're all the same. We are not moaning here, although some will always think we are, it's about improving the evenings entertainment at no, or little extra cost, so even if racing not that good, new people will think they had a good time. I don't think Somerset can have "really loud volume" because of neighbours, but with speakers better placed more people could hear it, and with some upbeat and rousing tunes you can create an atmosphere. Can never match Millenium Stadium but that's no reason not to try.
Starman2006
LOL - This has literally just made my day. It seems you're as clued up on the music world as you are the Speedway world. Ok!!

oldtimer
Friday nights practice, is the usual food available?
oldtimer
Friday nights practice, is the usual food available? No replies to my question, so I rang up, and yes food is available. Looking at the weather forecast can we have early notice if evening practice is cancelled please and will I need someone to push my car out of the field? Roger Jacobs
On the speedway front - not unexpected to see Somerset installed by just about all the Speedway Star pundits as pre-season favourites for the PL. I was shocked to see Ipswich journo Elvin King putting them at 8th!

oldtimer
Checked the Rebels web site and it said practice unlikely and could meet riders in club house at 5pm, could not make it at that time so did not go. Frustrated that when I now look at web site on Saturday, it says it actually went ahead at 7pm as planned. Pirate Nick
There was no practice. A few of the riders were going to give it a go but it started raining again so it was called off.
