Vicar
Hi I was using http://svemo.se website to get results from swedish Division 1. But now those results gone, they prepared website for season 2013. Do you know where on that website (or on another) I still can found results of Division 1 from 2012? Ghostwalker
Are you sure ? even the FIM call it ice speedway http://www.fim-live....-racing/events/ imo ice speedway is regular speedway bikes on ice. While ice racing is ice racing. ice speedway: ice racing: Why FIM call it ice speedway I don't know.
iris123
It is a toughie, with a number of pitfalls Ok in Swedish it is Isracing, which translates good to Ice racing. But in German it is eisspeedway or in Finnish it is Jääspeedway or Dutch it is i think Ijsspeedway which translates to Ice Speedway. It seems at least in germany we have eisspeedway and speedway on ice for the different sports on ice

Then this one dude was made responsible of it and he turned it into shi... ice speedway. He's very popular "in the field" at the moment with the way FIM has changed the WC formula. EDIT: I was also looking for Swedish results today and noticed them all gone. Thank you for the link (if it works)! Sure. This marketing of the Gladiators......but it is a confusing issue with the name and if you look at it of the major countries you have Russia with what looks like a translation of "Motorbikes on Ice" .Not really a great title to be used Sweden -Isracing= Ice Racing Netherlands,Germany,Austria,Finland and now Poland with what translates as Ice Speedway Not sure what the Czech is or tranlates to,but really it doesn't matter much as the vast majority seem to call the sport Ice Speedway. And it really isn't an english language sport anyway......although strangely the Polish team for the upcoming team championship are being advertised as "Polska Ice Speedway Team" But like i said,i do agree it all gets confusing as it really isn't Speedway in the sense we know.Speedway on Ice as it is known here is more akin to speedway Edited November 11, 2012 by iris123

Next step for Svemo is to give Anders two weeks pay and make him upload all the stuff that was on speedwayresultat.com back online.
