1. your teams top rider?

I can't choose one. All of them.

2. your teams most improved rider?

Michael Palm Toft - it all clicked for him around mid-season. Fantastic 21 point-max against Workington.

3. best match witnessed?

In terms of sheer drama, the play-off final. In terms of racing, Scunny vs Leicester in August - Nick Morris was scary but thrilling in that one.

4. worst match witnessed?

Away to Rye House - a frustrating night.

5. did your team do better or worse than expected?

Er, well as league champions I'd say we did OK!!

6. best fans to visit your track?

Somerset - very vocal in the final (I could hear them and was located in the pits)

7. best track( other than your own team)

Well of course the Eddie Wright Raceway IS the best track. But Somerset is second best.

8. worst points of the season?

Lee Richardson's accident

All the best

Rob

so another season is done and dusted, just!!!!

but what do everyone think of the season? below is a few questions about your team

1. your teams top rider?

Been a poor season for Sheffield this season, but the one bright spots has been seeing Joe Haines starting to get his career back on track. Winning the British Under 21 Championship seem to be the turning point and look forward to watching progress further next season.

2. your teams most improved rider?

Joe Haines yet again.

3. best match witnessed?

Leicester at home, with a big Leicester following who were very loud and confident it was a night when the whole Sheffield team rode to their true potential.

4. worst match witnessed?

Glasgow at home in the League, we seemed to be coasting to a win, when a combination of poor Team Management tactics and bad luck we capitulated and Glasgow ###### an unexpected victory.

did your team do better or worse than expected?

Looking at the team at the beginning of the season it was what I probably expected, but on a personal note I took the season as part of a two season rebuild and the chance to bring in and look at a few new riders.

6. best fans to visit your track?

Leicester by a whisker very vocal and in large numbers, but Berwick were not that far behind in the League match not so many of them but still made quite a bit of noise.

7. best track( other than your own team),

Only travelled to one away meeting due to finances so that would have to be Redcar.

8. worst points of the season?

Where do I start, finishing 2nd from bottom in the League something that we at Sheffield are not use to. The crowds dwindling at Sheffield. On speedway in general the lost of Lee Richardson really did curb my enthusiasm this season and the weather which I think really did make for me a disappointing and de pressing season.

5. did your team do better or worse than expected?

Worse...but only just!

but what do everyone think of the season? below is a few questions about your team

1. your teams top rider? Josh Auty

2. your teams most improved rider? Michael Palm Toft, massive turn-a-round in the 2nd half of the season

3. best match witnessed? Home vs Worky in the playoffs

4. worst match witnessed? Only got to see half the season with working abroad, so I've enjoyed them all.

5. did your team do better or worse than expected? I predicted Scunny to finish top 6 & would have seen that as progress, so yes better than expected.

6. best fans to visit your track? Somerset / Sheffield. Pretty much always some good away supporters.

7. best track( other than your own team) - Been to Sheffield, Berwick, Redcar, Leicester, Worky, Edinburgh & Somerset away this season - would have to say Somerset, nice set up. Leicester had good facilities & very friendly fans but the track shape was awful.

8. worst points of the season? Obviously Rico but having to work away from Mid June - Mid Sept was the worst highlight. The updates site means the world to people like me who have to work away.

1 Not a vintage season for us , but with a plus nine average it has to be Joe Screen .

2 We didn't have a real improver , but Mason Campton did pretty well in his first season over here .

3 Probably the home draw against Somerset , though the home draw against Workington where we came back from 8 points down with 2 heats to go was special for that reason .

4 The home meeting v Ipswich which was run in constant rain was an awful meeting to watch . Mercifully it only lasted 12 heats .

5 Probably underachieved a bit , always hard when a successful side has to be broken up though .

6 Berwick fans have started travelling in big numbers again and are always welcome visitors

7 The trip to Somerset is always a highlight in my season

8 The amount of meetings spoiled by the rain .

so another season is done and dusted, just!!!!

but what do everyone think of the season? below is a few questions about your team

1. your teams top rider? Ben Barker, just a class above and a joy to watch over the last season.

2. your teams most improved rider? Nicki Glanz, after a while out of British Speedway he came back and improved a great deal as the season went on until the pay dispute.

3. best match witnessed? Personally I quite enjoyed the PL 4's if I'm honest.

4. worst match witnessed? Devils losing at home to Redcar. We were just so poor!!

5. did your team do better or worse than expected? Worse, although I only thought we'd be one or two places higher.

6. best fans to visit your track? Berwick - They're always a great bunch and what a trek to get to Plymouth. (Sheffield were a noisy bunch too).

7. best track( other than your own team) - P'boro for the 4's, my first visit and I'll definitely go back!

8. worst points of the season? All of the off track rumblings with the Bowden clan.

1. your teams top rider? Tough call, they were all contributing to the great second half of the season. Plump for Josh Auty, he provided the most "woaahh" moments through the year.

2. your teams most improved rider? Toss up between Jorgy/Birks/Toft. Go with MPT.

3. best match witnessed? PL Final 2nd Leg (obviously). Honourable mention to the Bandits league visit.

4. worst match witnessed? Can't think of a real dud. The PLRC ended in farcical manner that would have been comic but for the sickening nature of the crashes on the first bend.

5. did your team do better or worse than expected? Gotta say better, but once Morris signed they started to feel like a "team of destiny"

6. best fans to visit your track? Bandits fans hands down.

7. best track( other than your own team). Only went to Sheffield and Cardiff, so not much choice ! Give it to the Millenium Stadium just for the Holder/Sayfutdinov battle royale.

8. worst points of the season? 13th May 2012. RIP Rico.
