Islander15
I know its opposite in that Pickard's average went down greyhoundp & Brendan's has gone up, but Pickard rode one meeting less so didnt actually get an average but Brendan has done enough to get an average so is he now saddled with 7.25? Or does he keep his 5.25 because he was dropped before his average became effective?

I am pretty sure MM or someone from Storm will clarify it for you, and any average in the NL becomes effective 7 days after they have ridden 4 NL meetings, so Im thinking that Brendans wont be 5.25.

It begs the question though, why didn't Stoke keep Pickard for one more meeting because they could drop him within 7 days and still effectively have the points from his higher starting average, but he wouldn't have been straddled with a figure no-onewants to touch him on. TheSmiler
Harsh decision but it's happened now and makes the Storm a bit stronger. I like Brendan and feel he'll be an Elite rider one day so I hope he gets fixed up soon.

Fentiger888
Right decisions were made for the good of the team, ok stoke are poor but coventry look a solid side now. Brendon is a nice lad but will never make a PL rider let alone EL, hes a 5/6 pointer in the NL, he might have the odd good season and be around 7 but thats it
