lucifer sam
Well done to the Fen Tigers - well deserved, as final won without advantage of a home leg. Commiserations to Dudley on getting so close and hope that Roynon is OK. All the best Rob Edited October 24, 2012 by lucifer sam

CardinalSin
Well done Mildenhall fantastic effort to win without having a "home" leg in the final! What an incredible season they have had. Last year winning the cup and runners up in the league by one point in the final, and this year winning just about everything! The promotion deserve huge credit and maybe a move up at some stage in the near future?
salty
Just to rub it in on a bad night for Heathens fans, I've just noticed the advert for the dreaded Barratt Homes running across the top of the site. I know advertising revenue is not to be sniffed at but surely the line could be drawn somewhere above those parasites!!!!!

neil3065
Well done Mildenhall fantastic effort to win without having a "home" leg in the final! What an incredible season they have had. Last year winning the cup and runners up in the league by one point in the final, and this year winning just about everything! The promotion deserve huge credit and maybe a move up at some stage in the near future? As successful a season as 2012 has been for Mildenhall. Sadly, I cannot see a move up the leagues materialising - certainly not at present anyway. With the current set-up, Mildenhall is effectively a feeder club for Ipswich. For Mildenhall to go PL again, the Witches would have to return to the EL and I cant see that happening, certainly not in 2013. Despite the fact that current attendance levels indicate that PL Speedway might be viable at West Row, given a competitive team being put together. Unless the Witches ever return to the EL, I can only see Mildenhall remaining an NL club. There's also the fact that West Row stadium seems to be available for fewer dates for Speedway than was previously the case. Taking into account bad weather, Mildenhall havent been able to complete their full home fixture list at NL level this year (needing Kings Lynn's help to stage last nights fixture and still having one NT fixture to race). Its difficult to see how a PL fixture list could be completed at West Row. Edited October 25, 2012 by neil3065

Ommer Mon
Yep. Congratulations to Mildenhall but boy did we run 'em close in the circumstances. The news on Adam is not good with a broken leg and shoulder. It's tragic for the lad. If he had not had all the misfortunes he has suffered he would be at the top end in the Elite League by now and possibly knocking on the door of the Grand Prix. He'll be back no doubt and I'm sure the whole country will wish him well for next year wherever he may be riding. He is still one of GB's best prospects. So well done to the 'Bog Moggies' and let's hope for more of the same next year if both Clubs are in the came League. The rivalry and controversy has certainly livened up the NL this year!
CardinalSin
The rivalry and controversy has certainly livened up the NL this year! I agree with that and I think it's terrific! You can't beat a good rivalry and these two certainly seem to have it. If they both remain in the NL, I'll bet both sets of fans will look for these fixtures first when they are released and will look forward to them with relish. To be totally honest, Dudley seem to me to be the sort to strike up a fierce rivalry with just about anybody and everybody and in any league!! And the question also is, why on earth would Barretts WANT to advertise on this, of all, Forums..? Is this within the control of the people who run/own the site or wot..?
