Triple.H.
With the sad demise of Newport meaning no sunday meeting the day after Cardiff GP would it be better to hold this meeting on sunday afternoon as opposed to friday evening. Or maybe the 4TT or NL pairs or 4TT edited as touch screen phones + beer + watching football in pub + chatting proves without doubt that men can't multitask. Edited October 23, 2012 by Triple.H. squall
Why would you come on the BSF while chatting in the pub with your mates?
Triple.H.
Maybe we were chatting about the aftermath of the previous nights events.
daveallan81
Can anyone tell me if the Consolation Final for 3rd/4th place is still part of the programme? It isn't listed in 2012's live updates but I can't find any reason for it not being run - weather/curfew maybe?
phillipsr
It was cancelled due to the rain. They went straight ahead with the final

ellioth4
I am planning to book a night to stay in a hotel near burnham for this meeting, on the way back from my Newquay holiday during the week. What were the ticket prices for this event last year, or does anyone know the confirmed prices for this year? Please post this asap, as trying to make decision on if we can afford the extra night on the way home to see this meeting.

ellioth4
I have booked my accommodation today at the Admiral's Inn at Bridgwater, will be definitely going the event on 31st May 2013. Shadders
I'd prefer the Pairs on Sunday. Evening meetings are so much better. Sunday evening wouldn't work. Friday gives us time to get back to Cardiff and hit the clubs for a few hours Edited April 21, 2013 by Shadders

Yes It is, only their for the 1 night, staying in Newquay - Mon to Fri and staying at the Admiral's Table - fri night - probably won't eat meal, just breakfast in the morning. Northern Exile
We will be in Cardiff from early Friday afternoon and are considering attending the Pairs event at Somerset. Having been in previous years, we found it to be a really enjoyable event though we have generally driven there. Last year we missed out opting to attend the GP Practice instead. We do recall reading last year that there was an organised bus running from Cardiff to the Highbridge meeting. We will not have a car and whilst the train journey there is easy, this is not the case for the return leg. Is anybody aware of a bus running from Cardiff this year, please? Thank-you for any information that you can provide.

I know That there is a bus From Edinburgh run by the Emmerdales (i think). That leaves on the friday and goes to the pairs at somerset and then heads down to Cardiff to where the hotel is and then comes back up on the Sunday. Something along those lines anyway.
