Berwick V Rye Sat 27th Oct

Recommended Posts

I think that The Bandits will do enough to win this one , weather they get enough points on the board for the second leg is difficult to say I hope so . I also would like to think that this is not the last time we will see the Bandits on track, fingers crossed on that one that we are back next season , If we don't make it to tapes up next year the forum would lose out on all the excellent posts that dominate the various Bandits threads throughout the season.

Well you would say that wouldn't you.

Really hope there is is good news for all Berwick fans tonight as hinted at.

Good tip to some on here. Don't try to selfdestruct the club, attack others and lose the plot on what you are supposed to be doing. There has been some good feeling on here, with useful suggestions and genuine good thoughts for Berwick's future. Disrespecting and attacking other supporters, really has no place in any recovery plan to ensure Berwick Speedway comes to the tapes next year.

It was interesting that one of the few people who have been "observed" throughout the season continues to attack me because I support the club.

It is too late now to turn back the snide posts made throughout the season - and previous seasons - towards the club, and often the people running the club.

The most recent one being the sarcastic comment made about the club's website.

If it was a suggestion for an improvement it would have been worded very differently. For example, it could have begun, "Just a suggestions to improve the website...".

However, it wasn't.

Like I say, the negative stuff towards the club has now been experienced and noted by several people involved in the running of the club, not just the Directors.

You can't just keep on publicly having a pop like that. Nobody in any business accepts that.

If you put yourself in the public arena like that, you have to accept that there can be consequences in real life.

Having a dig at my posts, and other posters, who only post in support of the club is fine.

I don't take this too seriously, it is just a bit of sport when I get bored during work time.

Having a dig at the club is a misguided and a gravely wrong thing to do.

If I had anything to do with it, I would politely ask some not to return.

A very important principle in life is not to let the rotten apples spoil the barrel.

It is amazing how many people who don't post on here are thoroughly sick of this.

Interestingly there are several hundred supporters who post on other Internet resources and none of them share the views of this tiny minority on here.

Like you say disrespecting and attacking other supporters is no way to put a recovery plan in place and I think there has been a realisation recently that the few that do that need to be removed.

Edit:

That's my final say on this, I'm sure this will find a suitable conclusion.

A Sensible post from Bigeddie :o , got to agree any cheap shots on the promotion or volunteers who run other parts of the club are very much uncalled for, without them we would not have had a club to support a few years ago, keep this sort of attitude up and who could blame them for feeling like walking away.

Hope its good news tonight so normal service can be resumed and we can all get back to argueing over team selection for 2013.

Berwick looked comfy right from the off, Rye House are a dire outfit however there were good flashes from Bunyan and Garrity.

Bellego Aspegren and Super Seb scored heavily as expected. Very predictable stuff, roll on 2013

We've been awful for the majority of the season. Loads of injuries haven't helped and the mix of the team just aint right... I reckon the Bandits have done enough tonight, although it could be close.

I'm glad the season is over and certainly won't be venturing over to Hoddsdon tomorrow for the second leg of this trumped up fixture filler. I feel for the Bandits fans having to watch that dire gate and go stuff in sub zero temperatures.
