Gazc
Edinburgh are asking for somebody to house Vissing as he wants to base in the area , which suggests it's more than just temporary . Â There's a 3 bedroom house in spring burn with only 40 Pakistan tenants living in it and they have 41 beds just an option if he is stuck

Fromafar
Its mystifying why these established riders have so much trouble regarding Visa's surely thats the 1st thing you would be checking out and making sure everything is in place for your yourself EVERY year rather than wait for some one to tell you things have changed, its their livelyhood!!.they have 6 months to make sure .
BluPanther
Vissing is a solid performer, if he stays fit you may well challenge for honours this year.

Roger Jacobs
Vissing is potentially a very good rider, but can be too aggressive on track though - putting himself in places that many riders won't.

From what has been said, it isn't the rider's fault, nor Edinburgh's. It appears a rule was introduced bythe UK government, and not picked up by speedway (or probably a whole lot of other employers we don't know, or care, about).  The application -- by Somerset? -- for his visa/permit was lodged after the change. According to our government's new rules, they cannot now apply again for twelve months!  Bring on the SNP, and we'll get rid of London's inept bureaucracy!

Have to disagree,if it was my livelyhood at stake I wouldn't be relying solely on other people to conduct the applicationj. The new rules must have been written down somewhere if changes had been made.Immigration and visa's is not an obscure subject and hidden away in a secret file somewhere. XTC38L
The riders have no option but to rely on the clubs to finalize the visa application. They cant apply until they have a GBE and sponsorship form completed by their club and that isnt done till the end of january
