SCOTLAND1314
Courtesy of Edinburgh Monarchs Website  http://www.edinburghmonarchs.co/news/article.asp?id=1260  Hats off to the promotion for listening to the fans and taking action to attract the younger fan whilst also thinking of the existing fans.  Good stuff.  Let's hope it does the trick and helps bring in more supporters. Â I've no idea what the work permit rules are in this instance. Â However, Sam did ride in the Aussie Senior Solos Championship this year.

luluthetiger
Thanks for that he should be ok then, only speedway could have such complicated rules.. Â Absolutely nothing to do with speedway this time. BSPA would have agreed Sam's situation right away, it is just the snail-like progress of the two governmental bodies to blame. Â Workington's Mason Campton is also hung up over in Australia just now. Matty Wethers had a long wait for his visa last winter, I think it was. Willowman
Matty Wethers had a long wait for his visa last winter, I think it was. As did Jason Doyle. But you have to ask the question, do these boys get their applications in in enough time? By "enough", I mean the maximum time plus a bit of slack. Or is it more complicated than this? Catalan
I believe it is down to the riders themselves. Knowing Sam's laid back style probably only just got around to sorting.

Mr Blobby
This is all Glasgow's fault that Sam has been rejected his visa. Edited March 16, 2013 by Mr Blobby

montie
Wasn't there a problem end of last year with Sams visa that prevented him from doubling up towards end of season? Edited March 17, 2013 by Phil
