f-s-p
04.05 : Qualifying Round 1: Daugavpils, Latvia : Latvia v Ukraine v Germany v Argentina or Croatia or France 20.05 : Qualifying Round 2 : Miskolc, Hungary : Hungary v Slovenia v USA v Italy 13.07 : Event 1 : Czestochowa, Poland : Poland v Australia v Russia v Winner Qual.Round 1 15.07 : Event 2 : King's Lynn, Great Britain : Great Britain v Denmark v Sweden v Winner Qual.Round 2 18.07 : Race-Off : Prague, Czech Rep : 20.07 : Final : Prague, Czech Rep : Czech Rep v I heard about this today. SML/Finland did not enter, because our team has no chance of success, good enough anyway according to federation bigwigs. The finance's dont even matter in this case and no possibility was given to enter, even though the board was approached with a letter explaining what speedway actually is. It's a joke and the more you think about it the more iditioc the whole thing comes. But since I'm almost in the middle of that pile of crap, guess it's better to say nothing else. For now... Daniel Smith
Got to say, event 2 at King's Lynn looks sweet if the USA do (should) get through. That is the strongest line up for a King's Lynn round so far with track specialists riding for the opposition nations Can't see GB making it through, even to the race off. We'll even finish behind the USA but no doubt (weather pending) will draw up some cracking racing

It would be very tight between GB Denmark and Sweden especially around KL but we will be 3rd favourites. Thanks a bunch. So we get to see either Argentina(in 50 rides i think one of their U21 riders only took 1 single point off a foreign rider....),France(hmmm,this isn't longtrack...) or Croatia(have they got enough riders of any international standard??????).At least Germany have a chance now

Danes will walk it, Niels,Nicki,Kenneth and Michael are by far the strongest four around Lynn.

Woz01
We like being the spoilers and underdog I do hope you make it through to KL, it would be very competitive the list of riders there would be impressive. Would Billy ride in it again in 2013?

Would Billy ride in it again in 2013? Billy rode in 2012 to show (with Greg) the winning Team USA ways from days gone by to the younger rides. He will be heavily involved in 2013 but no riding plans....as yet!

iris123
Billy? Why not try Shawn Moran,he doesn't live too far from Hungary. Now if both he and Billy were in the team i might even travel down for that

iris123
In all seriousness, would love to see them do it.Always been supportive of the US in our sport having witnessed the arrival of Scott Autrey and Sumner McKnight back in the 70s.Started off the golden years of American speedway(in the modern post war period anyway)and brought that special razzamatazz that only the Americans can bring.Would love to see another wave of youngsters take the sport by storm here in Europe.Good luck Edited November 17, 2012 by iris123
Richspeedway
04.05 : Qualifying Round 1: Daugavpils, Latvia : Latvia v Ukraine v Germany v Argentina or Croatia or France 20.05 : Qualifying Round 2 : Miskolc, Hungary : Hungary v Slovenia v USA v Italy Shame not to see Finland in the Qualifiers and being able to cheer them on again. Looking at the two rounds Hungary looks alot tougher, round 1 I would of thought it be France as I am not sure if Croatia have enough riders.
