Wanted Rocker Bridge For Gm Long Stroke

Bit of a strange one, recently i have encountered a problem with my long stroke GM. No good at mechanics so please excuse my ignorance. Take the top engine cover off, under that the rocker bridge ally thing has cracked in the middle, I am reluctant to get it repaired as it has previously done, but when i spoke to dealers they have advised that this ally bridge is machined for that head etc and replacement part cannot be ordered individually, hence why it has been repaired previously.

My question, is there anyone who has a Long stroke GM motor maybe damaged to valves etc that could sell me this bridge, i cannot afford a new head!! but i am desperate to get the old gal going. My new short stroke motor is for sale to purchase a long stroker pics available if interested in swap etc!!

Any help on this matter would be very much appreciated as i have a meeting at lynn next sunday, and the short stroke motor is too quick for me!!!

Regards, Jack

Glyn, will give you a call later when I get chance. It's the 4 bolt rear, on this engine the rockers are in bushes but the bushes have a circlip around them to retain which means the head and bridge has a grove to locate, the early ones with bushes had no retaining groove but held by a "notch" in the bush and a locating hole in the head and bridge and the bolt spacing is different. The later JRM had bearings with half washers at either end to locate and the head and bridge has 2 groves machined in to retain. So I think there are 3 styles of bridge, older one with a location hole, latest with twin groves to hold the bearings in and the one I am after which is the single groove. Gary
