T.N.T.
Firstly Tai would have preferred Emil to have been fully fit and in the GP tomorrow but if anyone thinks he will now play it safe is totally wrong. Tai had a plan set out from day one which included diet, training, relaxing and when he raced which is why he decided not to ride Sweden so he can be abroad at the weekends but weekdays he is in England going through his routine day in day out. Now he has 3 rounds left and holds a 21 point lead over Jarek Hampel and playing it safe would be to score 30 points in the remaining rounds hoping Jarek doesnt somehow score 52. However Tai will be going to Slovenia and te other two rounds looking at winning or at least making the rostrum. He will still be on the gas full time and if he does end up as the 2013 World Champion it will be because he has done what he set out to do in each and every round. Can't wait for Torun as I am 95% sure to be flying out to hopefully celebrate the crowning of a NEW BRITISH World Champion !!

He is unlikely to take any unnecessary risks, its plain common sense. Of course he will play it a little safe, it's his title to loose now... [/indent] There's really only 2 ways for Tai to play it safe and that's at the back not bothering or out in front and Tai can't afford to do the first unless he makes the semi's. Taking it easy and getting mixed up in those 2nd and 3rd place battles is were you're more likely to get tangled up in an accident. Tai will want to win races regardless, he showed that Wednesday night guesting for us. He could have clearly not bothered, he even accepted a T/R ride. Not wanting to win races isn't in Tai's vocabulary. There no 'all or nothing' with Tai it's 'all and more all'. He's been a machine this year. A very deserving World Champion with or without Emil in it, he still demolished the other remaining rider's and that's what winning a World Title is all about COME ON WOFFINDEN!!!!!!! scaramanga
40/1??? Where on earth were you looking. 200/1 was his price! Correct he was. he had dropped to 40/1 after first couple of gp's and i was going to put some money on him but he dropped from 40/1 to 16/1 so didnt bother but i wish i hadat work there is 3 of us who do a little syndicate for the gp's we put a few quid each in and take turns in loosing the money we can use the money as we like when its our turn to bet more often we split it between 3 or 4 riders the last 3 gp's weve still had all our riders in at semi final stage and won nothing last gp we had 2 in the final 1 e/w and 1 win and got nothing were a lucky bunch arnt we ha ha good job its more for fun than trying to win big money There's really only 2 ways for Tai to play it safe and that's at the back not bothering or out in front and Tai can't afford to do the first unless he makes the semi's. A ORLOV
Another brilliant performance by Tai, he did not take it easy, and built up his lead over the rest to 20 points.

phillipsr
Just how possible is it for Tai to win it in Sweden. If Emil returns can Tai clinch it there or would it be to much
shadowfax
Along with most Semi-Final and Final appearances and most podium finishes this season that Tai deserves his place at the top

speedcrazy
If my maths is correct even if Emil returns if Tai out scores Emil, Hampel and Pedersen he can clinch it in Sweden Tai will have to have an advantage of 22 points at the end of the Swedish GP over the next highest point scoring rival to be crowned champion ,if Emil came back and rode the next two GP's and scored a maximum of 42 points putting him on 156 Tai needs to score 23 points over the two remaining GP's. hyderd
Tai rides like L Adams, smooth and stylish, IMHO Tai will achieve the 1 thing the great L Adams couldn't.
ProperSport
On a purely selfish note going to my first GP abroad being Torun , 21 point lead for Woffie after the Swedish GP will do nicely and hopefully we can crown him World Champion in Poland ( he's been class this year ) and not IMO do the injuries to other riders detract from his achievement should he make it
Hunty
Tai has been the best rider in the GP's all season, Darcy Ward would have pushed him if he had been at ll the events and Sayfutdinov aswell. Its a a shame its ended like this but over all Tai has been at the top or there abouts all season!
