you are correct TMW . a walk round BP on a race night and you can meet , the rose tinteds , anti hemsley brigade . anti popple mob . pro popple mob , the hope the track improves but dont hold your breath brigade ,the David told us so it must be true brigade , the Hemsley brought speedway back to leicester gang , the no he didn't a few people worked for 20+ years before he showed his face and took all the credit gang , do you have a clique TMW. ?

Gotta agree, did tickle me also. Unfortunately, no consistency. Jim is the Villa of the Leicester threads and for every Liverpool post there's sure to be a run of Chelsea, Spurs, Wigan and Bradford City posts following it!

Ah that's the one I'll join then as it sounds the right one for me. Let me know when it's up and running dj350z and I'll come and stand with you.

Sounds good to me Gem. We never did meet up at Brandon so maybe we will at BP!! ;)

I take it from your avatar that you are a Bees fan , so you could try starting the I'm about as welcome as a dose of clap group .

Do you know, I thought all speedway clubs needed as many supporters as they can get in these difficult times even if it might be just casual support. I must have got it wrong Jim!!

You will find on here the certain so called leicester fans neb & mrcts wanting leicester fans to go to coventry and support them simply because they dont agree with your points but your right every club needs as much support as possible and i think it will be a tough year for the sport and thats why its so important leicester speedway gets it right this year.

Don't let that put you off it was only a joke I would not try to stop anybody going to speedway anywhere its true all teams need as many though the gate as possible , although I assume you are relatively new to speedway since you cannot see the funny side of it . couple of bits of advice for your trip to BP first of all there are no casual supporters at BP every one of the 3,000 a week is a Lions supporter and they have such a good crowd they dont need or ever count any casuals in their estimated crowds dont wear any coventry gear , and you must not ever mention Charles Ochiltree , if anyone asks where your from tell them you live in Blaby , now go and check out the 30 year old grudge that some Lions fans still hold against "the filth " that's you by the way even if you weren't born 30 years ago

Ah I would have loved to have have replied to this with some sarcasm or witty repart'ee but i know less about football than I apparently do about speedway and so i'm afraid that I don't understand the analogy

I'd prefer our first meeting to be at Brandon actually because I like my dog to have a good sniff around and pass her approval of anyone new. If she doesn't bite your leg then I know you're okay. Of course this test isn't possible at Beaumont Park because the miserable sods won't let her in.

you can still do the test at BP .but instead of your dog just use Neb or Mrcts if they dont approve they will definitely bite them .

i have to agree with the policy at bp i have nothing against dogs but my personal opinion is speedway is not the place to take a dog i am sure they would much prefer the beach or a park.

This is a one off as i have too sadly agree with you,its not a place to take a dog, I am a big animal lover but feel that all tracks should ban them for the dogs safety.

and possibly spectator safety in my experience a dog can be fine around some folk but for no reason turn on others.

for the dogs safety? What do you think will happen to it? Perhaps it will fight with Jim the Whippet.

I will explain as i guess it hards for you too understand, but I know a number of people who got hit with shale last season who were hurt, does it not matter if shale hits a poor dog then also the noise of the bikes and airhorns can effect dogs the same as fireworks can, so really its not a place for a dog.
