scribbler
Come on Somerset, beat both Ippo and Scunny....who are there by default, not by actually winning the by the set out formula....effin pathetic no wonder fans stay away!!! At least Scunthorpe came second to Newcastle in the League... They might be there by default - but second and third placed teams in the final isn't quite so bad.

jenga
too many teams in the premier league for it to run smooth.
Arson fire
So --- in the wettest year for over a century, how do you suggest the matter could have been better resolved after last night's rain-off? use some initiative and have a plan b just incase it was rained off, notice they ran the plrc at a diff date and time...maybe in August or sept making provisions to fit all matches in....Poole and Swindon have managed it!!....so what if both play off finals are rained off?? Will they draw lots or what?? You pretend to know everything ....so maybe you could have sorted it??
duffyscouse
This sport is an absolute joke...not a worky fan but to be denied the chance of one cup final and a chance to be league champions is nothing short of ludicrous.....you ride all season, battle injurys and weather to compete for silverware yet lose out because of it.....total disgrace!!! Come on Somerset, beat both Ippo and Scunny....who are there by default, not by actually winning the by the set out formula....effin pathetic no wonder fans stay away!!! no youre not - just a bandwagon climber - Scunny fulfilled thier fixtures and amassed an almost unaissailable set of points and scores - particulalry by demolishing the Comets at the EWR - so on balance I beleive the decision - with no opportunity to fit the replay in was sensible if a touch harsh on the Comets - there was opprtunity to get the fixture done in time - you'll have to ask the perspective clubs why not. Rob G bemoaned the issue two weeks ago that it was going to the wire and a risky strategy - Scunny did all THEY could - so climb off and stop stoking kindling or it will be more than Arson fire
Patches
too many teams in the premier league for it to run smooth. And also for the number of genuine heatleaders we have to go around. Watered down product, but prices going up. and we wonder why people don't attend. It's time for a massive shake up.

duffyscouse
As if I didn't know - they maybe finished top of the pile (by a gnats scrotal hair on a track with THE biggest home advantage in the PL) BUT the play off system was in place for all to see at the start - 6th was enough for silverware - maybe you picked badly mon ami Geordie

Backless
Crazy, not a bit of wonder the sport is a laughing stock What PRECISELY are Edinburgh, or the BSPA supposed to do? Make the rain go away? If only you had told them in November last year just how wet 2012 was going to be, I'm sure they would have modified the fixture list accordingly. They've let the agreed fixture run their natural course until there is no alternative but to take action to move the various competitions along.

Makes speedway a joke , complete farce, rain to blame, my backside . If your face fits you're ok. Next season lets hope they change things on the board , Elite managers should sort the Premier League issues and vice versa , best wishes to Somerset who got to the final properly and not handed on a plate
leoni
So how was it handed to Scunthorpe on a plate???? We completed our fixtures, were Workington likely to win at Edinburgh?? No!! I would have preferred it if all the fixtures had been completed, but due to circumstances they werent, what would your solution be?? Your hatred of everything associated with Scunthorpe is getting very boring"
