gusworld
Shame Bjerre (7.31) is missing on Friday. Would have been interesting if the Lions had been allowed Sam Masters (7.44) as a guest but sadly his average is slightly higher.
Hazzman
Lions need to pull off the biggest upset since their second coming. Can't see it but a more than solid season this year
Skodaman
I would like to think that Leicester could get close enough to Somerset on Friday, and set it all up for a good close match on Saturday. But, in all honesty the way we perform away I can't see it. Leicester have a better away record than Workington and Edinburgh who are unfortunately in the other group! drew2
Edited for accuracy A dry day tomorrow with a good stiff breeze and we may get some speedway. Let's hope so. The track was pretty wet tonight but didn't look too bad with only small puddles around the kerb. If tomorrow is dry with the breeze then that will be ok but not too sure about the car park though!! The other group is still close and you could argue they are the in form teams I think making to the final is an achievement any more is a bonus! Brooksy
Weather not looking too good at the moment - a number of heavy showers already today. It may well dry up later, but the damage may already be done. It's lashing down as I write this. Not hopeful I'm afraid, though I'm sure they will give it every chance. Najjer
I still don't understand, why doesn't the track have covers on it? The rain today has been horrendous, not to mention what fell yesterday.

Najjer
£££££££££££££££ Give over. Plastic sheeting is cheap as chips. I'd be amazed if anyone has even looked into pricing for it, but it's really not difficult to do.
justathought
You would have thought that in this day and age that someone would have come up with a cheap option. I remember years ago at Long Eaton they used to have sheeting over the dog track so that no shale got onto it. After the Speedway had finished the guys used to go round removing the covers.
