StevePark
It does seem a bit odd that Newcastle have got 3 Decent assets, Kenni Larsen, Mark Lemon and Ned and NONE of them are included next year? Not gonna knock George and Darryl's team selection just yet though. Don't think Lemo is ours. Just announced on Twitter that 6 of the 7 will be announced tomorrow. We bought Lemo but the deal for Robbo seemed to just fizzle out and didn't go ahead.
NJC71
No ned puts a different perspective on the team and certainly opens up the possibility of Tully. Robson, Henry, Lindgren, Richie, Steve and Tully would fit and leave 4.14 for the last rider. With Ned it would have left 4.95 but having looked through the GSA's there are very few riders on an average up to that who look realistic and attractive propositions so perhaps they've decided to use the extra points to get Tully and then made a decision to leave out one of the others, although if that was the case we could have just kept Lemo. Still think that would be very harsh on Ned but I will probably be completely wrong. We'll find out tomorrow. diamond@heart
I have just done this team: 1. Stuart Robson 7.66 2. R Worrall 5.64 3. L Lindgren 6.84 4. A Tully 6.51 5. C Henry 6.84 6. S Worrall 3.93 7. M Wethers 5.66 Total 43.08 I appreciate that this team is over the limit but was wondering if we would get a further reduction on R Worrall as he missed most of the season. If not then disregard. Out of interest does anyone know if a reduction is possible for Ritchie? May all be irrelevant if 6 out of 7 are being announced tomorrow!!! The rider has to have missed the whole official season to qualify for a reduction.

bamber
Would rather have Matty Wethers than Tully...Matty scores points everywhere and he can gate...Tully has never been able to gate perhaps a move to a bigger track would help his career a bit been in a comfort zone at armadale to long he was almost guarenteed to score double figures every week Matty Wethers good captain dependable turns up does his job every week....and before anyone starts saying he had a bad year in 2012 he blew 3 engines in the space of about 3 weeks but come good again the last few weeks witch he proved in the K. O. cup.and yes im biased ever since i first saw him ride years back when the gems were running...

speedy19902006
Pains me to say it but would of rather had Nedermark than Henry, I really like Christian but I think the upside of Claes is higher, if imagine its financial giving that Christian lives in Newcastle
Tsunami
As TWK said a few pages back, put your trust in George and the promotion and they would give us a decent team and, hey presto, they have. Sorry about Mark and Ned not coming back this next season. If I was a speedway rider I would probably be Mark and I wish him well where ever he rides this year. Ned was never on my want list last winter, and I said that his late form, and the circumstances, made it easy for the promotion to drop him for 2012. But his superb form in the second half of the season, first at reserve then back in the team, took everyone by surprise, and I, along with most, thought that he would be first one picked for 2013. It is not to be, but I hope this is not the last we see of Ned in the future but that he is getting more practice in on another track and returns a more complete rider. Nice to see the bulk of the riders being retained from last years successful team. I think it is what everyone hoped for, which then brings me to Tully. A very good rider on the night but prone to dips at certain tracks. I hope with this track change he knuckles down, takes his riding career seriously and I think if he does, we will see the very best of him. He is a decent talent and with consistency he could be the surprise package of the season. That leaves 4.14 for the seventh man. I know who I want to see at 7 but I think it is best to wait and give the promotion the chance to select the best man for the job all things being OK. I do think we will miss Mark captaining the team, he was good at it, and very helpful to all the riders with his knowledge and advice. I think possibly Stuart and Christian should share the task of looking after their teammates and keeping the group together as a team. We did well last year, and I don't see one reason why we can't emulate that or even improve on it. Chewbacca
It looks a sensible team fulk of Brits and locally based Aussies with a Sweded with whom we can share travel costs with an EL club. Just got to hope the twins broken legs haven't affected their confidence and Tully quickly gets the hang of Brough.
