Workington V Scunthorpe (play-offs) - Saturday, October 6th (7pm)

Recommended Posts

A night when both sides lost points to various mishaps.

The final result was around about right. Workington deserved the points, but Scorpions kept it close in terms of race points, and a handsome three point win for the Scorpions today would put them in a nice position.

All the best

Rob

Totally agree LS what ever happens today looks like it will come down to the results between Workington and Edinburgh

Please win comets We can't have a team winning the championship with 3 guests and rider replacement. Where 's the credibility in that

I am sory you feel that way but, believe you me, we would rather have had Howe, Jorgensen, Auty & Morris ALL Fit, ALL Season but the nature of the sport brings injuries to all riders at some point.

  • Not a bad meet but a bit drawn out on a cold night, not helped by numerous restarts and falls, Gary Irvings fall looked quite nasty but he was lucky to get up and appeared to suffer no ill effects.

The scores were fairly close up until the closing few heats so could have gone either way, luckily Lawson and Bach got a 5-1 in heat 15 to secure all the points.....Bach's pass on Masters was superb.
