stemoc
Nowt to do with getting on Lawsons back, WHEN he gates he's class when he misses the gate he's woefull, just can't pass to get anywhere near the leaders. Take it you weren't at Sheffield for the 1st running of the PLRC then! Richard has bailed us on on many occasion this season and doesn't deserve that sort of criticism, that said your entitled to your opinion, personally I would totally disagree. June
Scunny should take a lot of credit with MPT started slowly this year but stuck with him always believed in him.A example to other clubs change for change sake often backfires.Glasgow have done this with Campton and he looks a prospect and O'Malley could come back and still make it over here.DId Josh tonight make any decent starts or did he have to come from the back.? Josh made some good starts tonight and wasn't on the chase in most of his races. Considering he wasn't 100% fit ( wrist) Josh rode extremely well. He's such an exciting rider. " Mr Entertainment" hope he has another year with us.
duffyscouse
The Scorpions were simply outstanding - to a man. Josh Auty doesnt know when he's beaten and is a true winner, deserved his paid max and off the injury bed to boot Skidders was excellent value (as ever) id have him in my team if he fitted Rich Hall as committed as ever at the EWR - aheavy spill and injured wrist were blown away by a win and a paid win in his next two - I have a lot of respect for Hally Ash Birks , Mr Smiley rode his butt off again - rode the dreaded wall of death and was superb yet again - has matured into a true top five racer MPT was awesome (words accredited to the missing Thomas Jorgensen) unbeaten in 7 rides, hes been on fire of late and has his place in the history books now - paid 21 from 7 - Outstanding Gary Irving, on his one last engine and looked super quick , great heat win and unlucky to lose a ride and not score more Comets - Bach and Tero were good, Lawson avearge after a good opening win, and Kyle Howarth showed well Scorpions deserved the big win and deserve the spoils of a final - whether they get it is in the lap of the Gods ! Lewis
Been to Worky twice now & there is a distinct minority of miserable, moaning, whinging, confrontational fans. Ends up in a very hostile atmosphere & I probably wont be back there. I couldnt believe it before the away match some comets fans where even suggesting that we were pulling a fast one to be a stronger team by having 3 guests (Doolan, Masters & Hall) + R/R compared to Howe, Auty, Morris & Jorgenson; three out & out number ones & a heat leader! Talk about beau locks. Last night was awesome, Worky had no luck whatsoever but the lads rode their hearts out, was probably the best atmosphere I have seen at the EWR, more passing in the first 7 heats than in the 2 away matches combined. Who ever gets to the final now is in Worky & Edniburghs hands, if either of them can win away then they will be in the final, if not Scunny will go through. Hope we make it but best of luck to Worky & Edinburgh for good racing & injury free meetings.
montie
Biggest cock up out of all this is now a two week wait until Worky go the Edinburgh, while Ipswich are at Edinburgh this week in a micky mouse cup,im sure the play offs should take priority and fill in later with these other cups and stuff, that would enable the finals to take place following week end

Sorry you ended up with the miserable, moaning whinging mob whoever they were, we all have them ( where did you stand / sit?) I can assure you the majority of Workington supporters are very friendly yes we like our banter just like anyone but good people none the less. Next time you come up (which you will) give me a pm and I will show you a different Workington experience;0)) Edited October 8, 2012 by stemoc
montie
all meetings need to be run so no real problem which way they are run Its a problem when the other side on the play off group will be done and dusted by the weekend,Worky got Edinburgh this weekend also,Yet Edinburgh race against Ipo,why not swap Ipo and Worky around, then weather permitting, play offs are decided by Saturday night, which i guess the finals could be run on the weekend of the 19th now the play off finals are looking at being the weekend of the 26th of the month, which is last weekend of season i think
comet49
I agree that it's important the league should be given the best chance of being decided, it is the main one. It's not long ago since visitors were complimentary to the friendly Comet's fans, pity you've encountered the wrong uns.

Will that be from this update?: " Heat 09: Bach, Aarnio, Toft, Hall 5-1 30-23 Time: 64.50 Line Up: Bach, Aarnio, Hall, Toft Comments: Hall is dangerous!! Tried to cut in between Irving and Aarnio on bend 2 lap 1, god only knows how Irving missed him.
