oldtimer
This should be a "walk in the park" for the rampant Rebels and another 3 points in the bag. It's voting time for rider awards on Friday, as last year Debbie always does it when I am away. I assume it's the usual three catergories, favourite rider, most entertaining rider and most improved rider. As I won't be there can someone complete a form for me, and put down Sam Masters for all three, thanks very much.
gusworld
I agree should be all 3 points at the OTA but its how the Rebels perform at Leicester that will determine who finishes top.
Starman2006
I agree should be all 3 points at the OTA but its how the Rebels perform at Leicester that will determine who finishes top. Should be, they have got to stay professional and not get complacent. Again, go to Leicester with the intention of winning the meeting. They are in a good position. oldtimer
Assuming Rebels beat Leicester on Friday, Newcastle are away to Leicester on Saturday 6th, if the Diamonds lose by more than 6 (no points) then it does not matter if Rebels don't get any points away to Leicester on 13th as it would be shock if Leicester got a point away to Newcastle, and Rebels would finish top as only team to get an away point. How did I do Statman? Edited October 3, 2012 by oldtimer
Starman2006
There's no way the Leicester will get anything at Newcastle.IF they did, it would be a bonus. But thats the way you have to look at it. But Somerset have to consentrate on what they have got to do, and not worry about others.

Get someone to pass your words of wisdom onto the management and riders, as I doubt very much they'd even considered going there with the intention of winning. But thats exactly what they have to do. Stating the Obvious, but true. I mean, what do you want me to say.. Don't answer that!!! Then again, you also need 7 riders, not 5, but you'd know that, wouldn't you!! Edited October 3, 2012 by Starman2006

Nobblytriers
Looking at the forecast it looks as though this meeting could be called off. If it's on, I hope the Lions can improve on their last away performances and maybe sneak a point.

wandersome
This may not be as easy as first thought, liecester still have a good side and a few riders who ride the ota well Nice that everyone appears to be incorporating the west country pronunciation of Leicester into this thread My reckoning is after tonight we pretty much have to get a draw or win at Somerset. Most our riders have looked good at one time or another at the OTA but with our abysmal away form we probably need a miracle for more than 2 of them to click at any one time away. Are there any usuable NL stars out there to replace Lewis that go well at OTA.. can we use Stefan Nielsen? whatever, come on Liecester!
