Tsunami
Hows the weather in newcastle is it being kind ? Actual weather and the forecast is just for light rain, clearing up at teatime. The really bad rain was in the west. and over the Pennines. but we are only getting its spray. Been up to the track and everything is fine and both meetings should be great. Away on hols now Byeee.

Arson fire
I'd like to think we have made plans in the event of the worst happening....ie a number 8 and whoever is local and available on stand by incase anyone should be ruled out of meeting 2...ie Tully, summers and Mckinna ....having to use r/r could bite us on the arse...apparently Somerset had Holder and another there on fri just incase. oldtimer
Well done to Somerset getting a point from the Play Off match. However although I support Somerset it's totally unfair that in such an important match Somerset go in front of Newcastle on points just because The Rebels had a double point tactical and at Somerset Newcastle were not far enough behind to use a tactical. There should be no tacticals in the Play Offs and speedway continues to be a farce.
Chewbacca
And so the fortune of having a full team at playoff time is shown to the detriment of the true league champions

OT mate , they are the rules, you know the same rules that have enabled Nedermark to so far amass 21 rides and score 43 paid points, where would the Diamonds be without this.I would imagine if you asked any Newcastle supporter to swap Somerset`s 3 extra points for six of Nedermarks rides,I think I know what the answer would be.I cannot believe you are still moaning, we are doing ok for goodness sake. Panthers89
Wright thrown his toys out the pram by the sounds of it, sounds like comedy gold. Sitting on the track waving his hands in disagreement

Panthers89
Is James Wright trying to throw the meeting? Twice excluded for moving at the tapes? All these years, you'd thought he'd learn by now.

oldtimer
OT mate , they are the rules, you know the same rules that have enabled Nedermark to so far amass 21 rides and score 43 paid points, where would the Diamonds be without this.I would imagine if you asked any Newcastle supporter to swap Somerset`s 3 extra points for six of Nedermarks rides,I think I know what the answer would be.I cannot believe you are still moaning, we are doing ok for goodness sake. I know they are the rules but how would you feel; if the boot was on the other foot, Newcastle finish top of the League on points and then lose due to a stupid rule that few support. I'm pleased for The Rebels of course but you have to have some sympathy for the Diamond supporters, or you are not very sporting.. Also think reserves should only be allowed to take 6 rides, that would still allow your two reserves to cover for an early heat injury. Doyle Mr Fantastic, and great performances by Kyle and Tom also. Have to admit I was completely wrong about replacing Sam with Jesper because of Jesper's away form due to lack of track knowledge, happy to eat humble pie. Wrighty was warned for tape offences at Somerset on Friday and after this performance, might be better if we had R/R for him in the finals. KEITH M
I always thought Somerset were the strongest team in top 6 as they have a full team. Thats why I was suprised we didn't pick Edinburgh and after their performance at Scunthorpe tonight I wonder if the Newcastle promotion are having 2nd thoughts themselves.
