Somerset Bv Newcastle Double Header 28th Sept

Recommended Posts

Thank you I thought I had got it right - although I had not looked at it so technically.

Might just give this one a miss and use my rain-off ticket for another match and forgo the voucher.

I would advise you to find out what the conditions of re-entry are before assuming you will be able to do this.

Normally what happens after a meeting is abandoned is that the announcer states what the conditions are before everyone leaves, e.g. valid for the next three home meeting excluding special events or for when the meeting is re-staged. This did not happen on the Wednesday.

I think that the promotors may have followed the book on this one. I seem to recall that you are allowed a £1 for every heat not riden up to heat 12. So that would make a refund of £7 applicable if I am correct.

Looking at this again, the promotion are effectively giving us a £5 discount for the double header, i.e. £14 + £14 - £23 = £5 discount.

Applying this £5 discount to the charge for Friday it works out like this.

Two meetings at full price = £28 plus £7 for the 5 heats we had on Wednesday = £35.

Apply the discount of £5 double header discount on this and we get £30.

Apply the £2 discount voucher we get £28, less £14 already paid gives £14 to pay which is what is being charged.

So you may find that you are not entitled to a full refund but a reduced refund of £7. It may be that you are not entitled to any refund unless you attend the re-staged meeting which is obviously Friday. So beware.

Hope you followed this 'starshooter'.

Hope everyone remembered to keep their discount voucher as well as the re-entry ticket otherwise it will start getting more expensive :o !

Looks like I`ll be there along with Mrs DB,the Moose and Nigel...

That`s 4 Diamonds supporters... :lol::wink::P

Fill your boots DB. It is an absolute bargain for you. :D

Rain-Off re-admission tickets are valid for any future Somerset Rebels home meeting this or next season as stated in the match-day programme and on the official club website.

Willowman, when are you having the op to remove the ingrowing calculator? You should be at Bridgwater Fair selling things on a stall with all those figures to baffle people!!

I think i see where you are coming from eventually after reading it a few times.

What, full re-admission or subsidised re-admission?

If it full re-admission that makes things considerably worse for those who turned up on Wednesday to support the Rebels on a non Friday.

I'm suffering from numerical diarrhoea (and yes I did have to look up the spelling).

Listen to you with your "vacation". You will be laughing hysterically at us using a rubber to get rid of pencil marks next rather than an eraser. :D . I was on holiday last weeked and on holiday Monday/Tuesday. Hope to take the Mick see you tonight.
