greyhoundp
Scunny ride on Fridays, Somerset ride on Fridays, Edinburgh ride on Fridays, all i think are in the PL ride offs. So i do think we should watch this space, if we are going to have a re-run of the recent debacle about start times etc, then something needs to be sorted out, and pretty darned quick.
MrMungo
There's clubs in the PL Play-Offs who also ride on Sundays, so don't see it making that much of a difference, to be honest. Will know more once the fixtures are released.

MrMungo
Scunthorpe/Sheffield managed okay last season, and they had hmmm 4 riders in the PL, was it? From memory, both the Worrall twins elected to ride for their NL team on the same day that their PL teams were in action.
greyhoundp
HH1 & V210, you realise their are certain Forummers whom will have NO sympathy whatsoever, though nothing has been decided for definate, my own stance on this is, if Teams cant agree, alternative dates should be submitted to the BSPA, and they should decide when meetings will be ridden. Meanwhile The Tigers will ride a NT meeting this Sunday, against who ? the IOW, rather than it be a POSF V The IOW.

From memory, both the Worrall twins elected to ride for their NL team on the same day that their PL teams were in action. To be fair the PL didn't have PO's last season they had an odd end to the season. JG was also in for the Colts from Leicester although he got injured. these PL teams this season have Po's so it is different story all together. Maybe NL should go straight to League champions if the PL are going to have Po's involving 6 teams cos the likelyhood of NL riders of the top NL clubs being involved are quite high. junior fan
Wah, wah, wah. Thats the chance you take with double and triple up riders. Me , i hope Mildenhall do what Bixton did to you a few years back. Junior

Is there no end to this Dudley whingeing - first you want start times altered now you want dates altered to suit you! - the thread name says it all, just remove the question mark. Heathhen 1 you would rather see Stoke beat Dudley if you can't get your own way? Unbelievable, support your team you are at the top because you have a good TEAM. Firstly Mildenhall still have to beat IOW and Dudley have to beat Stoke so why assume anything. Secondly if it runs on the 19th and Mildy and Dudley win through then both sides have to step up to the plate with what they have - what else do you want? move the dates if there are any unfortunate injuries or somebody has bike problems?. Let me ask you 1 question - would Dudley do it to suit another club? Would Man U do it for Man City or indeed any other sport Mildenhall have a limited number of dates when the track can be run, and after recent seasons try not to run after any stock / banger meetings the night before to ensure good racing tracks and safety which further limits dates. Greyhoundp get real your "stance" suits who? oh yeah Dudley. Let the BSPA decide, let me see who allegedly has influence there? The rules on dates from what I understand are really quite clear and I cannot see what rules you think are being trangressed, if none then why such a pointless thread? PhilK
Fantasic post Kev, but fear it will fall on deaf ears. Sadly there is little ever posted on the NL thread of the BSF now, I wonder why? Edited September 22, 2012 by PhilK

Jayne
Really? And what would the rules say exactly? The home team has to offer the visitors a choice of three dates (words to that effect anyway).
DEEG
Friday the 19th is the pencilled in date for the KO Cup Final NOT the Play-Off Final. The circuit is booked for a private stock car event on Sunday 21st and the 19th is the date offered to the club by the stadium owners. Nothing though has been finally confirmed. But the simple fact is there are not many available dates left at West Row between now and the end of October. This Sunday's meeting has been a National Trophy meeting since the start of the season and bearing in mind we had no idea we would be facing the IoW in the play-offs until Wednesday there was never going to be enough time to change things. The respective club managements were still able to quickly agree on the 30th and 2nd as POSF dates. Hope that clarifies things a bit! David (Mildenhall Press Officer)

norwichkev
Thanks Jayne. That DOES clarify things. Glad that you are now happy. The world does not exist solely to be unfair to Dudley, although after some of the shenanigans on here I am sure some may say regrettably but of course not I. I trust you and Heathhen1 will also read the post immediately above yours and then have the good grace to apologise to all for wasting our time with 2 pages spawned by yet more inaccurate information and supposition. Shan't imagine that many will sit here waiting though. Kev Edited September 22, 2012 by norwichkev
