hagonshocker
Would Pavlic still be considered? 5.11 is a low average in todays market. Probably more appealing to most clubs now....as for someones question on Mikkel B would imagine he's now a 7 also....still think he and PP jr are appealing on there new assessed aves just perhaps not as much as previously?! What would Vaculik come in on bloody 10 or something?!
hyabb17
Mikkel Bech is a 5 apparently. How they've worked that out I've no idea!
Daniel Smith
Mikkel Bech is a 5 apparently. How they've worked that out I've no idea! Must be off too Poole then as part of the Pawlicki compensation package
frigbo
Mikkel Bech is a 5 apparently. How they've worked that out I've no idea! If Musielak is on a 6 then Pawlicki on a 7 is about right. If Bech is a 5, it's utterly ridiculous based on the other numbers, all known form would suggest he's better then both of the Poles amd probably should be 7.50. Some transparency is needed here, although I am very much an advocate of a minimum of 6.

Whenever we are getting such arbitary decisions it is going to cause an atmosphere of potential deceit. The 7.00 average for Pawlicki junior reminds me a bit of the changes to Sundstrom and Larsen's averages a couple of winters ago.
Pirates Of Poole
Must be off too Poole then as part of the Pawlicki compensation package 😜 Best we will get is Masters on 3.85 - cracking signing.....Not!

stevebrum
Masters is a steal on that average So long as he goes forward again as he took a little step back this season. Certainly hasnt improved as many expected.

DC2
Masters is a steal on 3.83 but now with no 4 point foreigners even Dryml on 4.58 looks a powerful reserve! He's a GP reserve after all!
JCookie
Glad to hear something is being done. I can remember Sweden assessing even PL riders at 9.33 in their PL so I'm happy there's now some sort of parity.
robinsgirl
I think Masters will go ok, once he gets confidence rolling. I wouldn't mind him in Swindon team.
Woz01
Isnt Mikkel Bech a 5 because he hasnt ridden in the Polish or Swedish top leagues yet? Also Pawlicki on a 7 is still a bargain for me!
bigcatdiary
So the promoters all voted in a rule that will hit.....all of them. Bloody stupid rule. Sure 4 point imports are likely to raise their average but this new method just takes away all the new foriegn young talent. As POP has said, no top liners and no young fresh talent coming in. Well done BSPA. No they have just closed a door that's probably ensured Poole (and others) are no longer allowed to import riders on completely false assessed averages. And about bloody time as well.

A ORLOV
Have had a busy afternoon watching The 2012 Elite League Finals. Absolutely brilliant meetings. If we can build another team like this years we can do it again in 2013. Edited November 27, 2012 by A ORLOV

And about bloody time as well. When you say "and others", that is every EL team, as every EL team had the chance of signing any of the foriegners. Trouoble is some of the promoters just don't go out there and find them, so they would rather not have any enter the league. The rule is a complete nonesense as will be proved over the next 12 months. All it will do is starve the EL of new riders and we will see riders from the PL being used all the time. Our league will become more insular and even further removed from the top European Leagues than it currently is. Just because some lazy promoters don't have the ability of going out and finding new talent. And that's the truth of the matter.

Someone's frightened that Poole can no longer dominate without the dodgy assessed averages! Still saves them griping about how they lost the Play-off finals through no fault of their own.
