keef robin
Eddie Kennett is an excellent signing by Rosco. I think if Steady had been riding at Lakeside the Robins would have been lucky to win it. Get those red and purple scarves, and air-horns out for the champions on Monday, and pack the terraces. Bring a friend, the missus(or someone elses!if you don't have one),and kids. 12 quid's a bargain.
Red Robin
Hope they get a stock of air horn refills in for Monday Beefy, always buy one a match, but all they had last thursday were those rubbish ones that they gave the kids, charged me fiver (which I don't mind) but they don't work. Got to let the lads know we are there cheering them on. Yes, hope it's packed especially against those nasty panthers

Brummiestormer
Not good enough really is it, I want Swindons (and every other teams) riders to represent their club regularly It's not as if there are loads of meetings these days either - another nail... When we are at the Arena next week we have 3 D/U riders not there---needless to say i won't be going lol
Irk Deflector
Swindon to win the League by 20 points but Poole or Kings Lynn to pip them in the Final!
stratton
Looking at the fixtures after Friday,s visit to the Panthers,up until the 30 th of May Ashley and Nick will miss only 1 meeting each. And both of those are reserved home fixtures we have 10 meeting,s in that time with the 2 difficult King,s Lynn fixtures. We then will have a regular 1-7 available which has got to be great news.
A ORLOV
Tonight we have no meeting and the last one was Monday April 8th. The next home meeting is April 25th. What a waste of a thursday with fine weather. We also have blank reserved dates each month. Now I know that after last years diabolical weather it was decided to have these reserved dates in case matches were rained off this year, but would it not be possible to fit in a challenge match, subject to rider availability, if this reserved date is not required. One I can think of is the rerunning of the cancelled Swindon v British Lions before the 2013 World Cup starts. It may even be possible for Neil to give British riders a run out against other clubs on their reserved nights. Presumably he has a squad in mind and subject to enough riders from that squad being available would it be possible to arrange a meeting.. On Swindons reserved dates tonight, in May and June no other EL meetings are being run. Edited April 18, 2013 by A ORLOV

It has been shown time and time again that supporters aren't interested in "filler" challenge meetings and promoters lose too much money when they run them. I can't see Patch risking "fillers" until at least crowds show a marked improvement.
A ORLOV
I accept your comments Steve, maybe I should have included in my post that it would have to be a meeting that was attractive enough that it is unlikely to lose money. May just have to wait for the crowds to improve, and go to the Swindon away meetings at Coventry and Birmingham, or Poole or Somerset in the weeks we do not have a meeting. noggin
We don't have the KO Cup this season, so theres an extra date atleast, so why not add another league match, this business of not riding twice against each club is so mickey mouse.

Like yourself, more away trips planned beyond the customary Coventry & Somerset away days

A ORLOV
Jason Doyle - Very good scores being achieved while being loaned out to Birmingham. After a reasonable performance in first two meetings he then scored 31330 - 10+1 against Swindon, and last night 23333 - 14, the top scorer against Lakeside. Ashley Birks - Good luck tonight in the British Semi Final at Sheffield.

EnglishRoundabout
Why the hell don't we give young Daryl Ritchings (a bloody British rider who is a Robins asset who hasn't turned a wheel in anger for the Isle of Wight this season) a shot instead of employing young Aussie riders who can hardly turn the bike, half a lap behind? Makes me pretty frustrated to be honest.
