BANANAMAN
Batch or Hans for the number one spot? Last season was a bit of a formality, not sure this year. Well done Patch in securing Batch for this season. Good Signing , Solid 7 , Back to back titles would not come as a suprise to me . The team to beat i reckon ..

noggin
Still can't see it confirmed anywhere!! Even on the BSPA site its only 'Team Announcements' (Rosco's in Rugby this weekend so probably popped into the offices and put it on himself!! ) - all the other announcements are just about agreeing terms with Batch, which pretty much everyone knew about anyway. I reckon now that the BSPA will have to agree 'under protest' and then fine/punish the Swindon promotion for not following the previous MC ruling! What fine them for not Buying him, that would sum the BSPA up perfectly.
Crazy robin
Good Signing , Solid 7 , Back to back titles would not come as a suprise to me . The team to beat i reckon .. Not sure on that as lot of pressure on Nick & the reserves for me.
noggin
One that has come out of this sorry saga, is that the BSPA really need to get their rules sorted, reference loans, assets, time scales for signing riders, and apply them equally & fairly to all, write the rule this season, that will be set in stone from now on, with no debate, everyone will know before making deals for next season, and close any loopholes such as making frivilous offers of team places, just to waste time.

Chalkie
When I see it confirmed, with a statement from the BSPA MC,- rather than just what your promoter says - then I'll fully believe it! I think you'll have to wait until Batch takes to the track in the red and white/purple and white, in the first official Elite League match to be satisfied, as I doubt you'll be getting anything else from the BSPA MC.
stevebrum
Latest Batch update http://www.swindonad..._Robins_return/ Lets hope everyone can move on It is as expected. And i fully expect it to be a loan deal as previously stated. But of course Panthers fans will hang on to the fact until its cleared by the MC then they wont believe it and still be happy to see Batch prevented from racing in the UK. World class reply, so original... Still can't see it confirmed anywhere!! Even on the BSPA site its only 'Team Announcements' It is on the BSPA news page. What more do you want it as confirmed?! The manner of the move will be revealed in time no doubt. And thankfully we can welcome a rider that WANTS to race in the UK, let us applaud that. Crump99
It is now :-) Welcome back Batch How true, must be the new efficient BSPA, never seen them move so quick. Swindon Panthers are go! Edited March 2, 2013 by Crump99
RumOldBird
please show me where on the BSPA website its under 'team declarations'(that means approved!) for 2013. Yes its under team 'announcements', as the headline on the BSPA and Swindon websites also says "Swindon announce Batchelor". Sorry but there is not a single 'team declaration' on the BSPA website so I don't see the relevance of that statement

That's the relevance although it's clutching at straws a bit.

superguest
Fear for the panthers now, if the sky deal net year isn't continued, they will have four riders that no-one will be able to afford and there goes the lucrative loan deals. At least Glasgow are safe® with this news. As for 2013, Swindon look to have another team capable of going all the way.

That's the relevance although it's clutching at straws a bit. That's what was trying to get across and obviously failing. There are no 2013 declarations for any team but everyone accepts that will be their teams line up except for Swindon Edited March 2, 2013 by RumOldBird

Speedway is small change to them although naturally they still don't wish to give it away.

I hope your right, got the impression they were tired of losing money on it and selling a few unused assets was the best way to claw some money back. I hope this decision doesn't send them packing. If the Sky deal isn't renewed then I think the whole sport will be finished with... No Top riders and basically a huge premier league.
