EnglishRoundabout
The funny thing is, ive caught him out quoting me direct since my supposed addition to his blocked list! Im just glad we have someone like him to take the piss out of on this forum, hes an absolute tool. Reading other threads, so many people ridicule the bloke its hilarious. Whilst Iknow this is slightly off topic, but can someone tell me why this type of post is allowed? Furthermore, it is still featured and has not been withdrawn. I thought this forum had certain rules about attacking posts and not posters? Welcome back Batch. Lets finally start talking about speedway again.
Crump99
Latest Batch update http://www.swindonad..._Robins_return/ Lets hope everyone can move on Have the BSPA agreed the side yet though? All it says is that the clubs have agreed a deal? http://www.speedwaygb.co/elannouncements13.html

All it says is that the clubs have agreed a deal? http://www.speedwaygb.co/elannouncements13.html Why wouldn't they? If both clubs have agreed a loan deal and Batch fits the last piece of the jigsaw within the points limit - what's the problem now? You're a glass half empty type person aren't you? I am a glass half empty person that's true. Rarely disappointed and everything is a bonus. The problem now is that your 1-7 is not on the BSPA website and much like waiting for Panthers to appear in the list of EL clubs again in 2011, nothing is confirmed until that happens in my book. What you say makes sense but we've all been disappointed by a BSPA decision so let's get better evidence first rather than your local journo.

SteveLyric2
Latest Batch update http://www.swindonad..._Robins_return/ Lets hope everyone can move on Surely this is just the Swindon promoter giving an interview to the Swindon paper announcing his 1-7 to include Batchelor, with whom he's agreed terms (didn't we know that months ago?!). Where does it actually state that agreement has been reached with Peterborough and approval gained from BSPA?! Not sure this is the last of the saga, but should make for an even more interesting TV meeting in April.

Steve0
It is now :-) Welcome back Batch Yes - great news ! Also details on BSPA website and on Swindon website at http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.1901.1 Happy Days! Surely this is just the Swindon promoter giving an interview to the Swindon paper announcing his 1-7 to include Batchelor, with whom he's agreed terms (didn't we know that months ago?!). Think you're wrong in your assumptions there skiddely (as now confirmed) although you are right about probably not heard the last of this saga! SteveLyric2
Still can't see it confirmed anywhere!! Even on the BSPA site its only 'Team Announcements' (Rosco's in Rugby this weekend so probably popped into the offices and put it on himself!! ) - all the other announcements are just about agreeing terms with Batch, which pretty much everyone knew about anyway. I reckon now that the BSPA will have to agree 'under protest' and then fine/punish the Swindon promotion for not following the previous MC ruling! It is in black and white on the BSPA website and also under team declarations - what do you want? A personal letter to you from the BSPA? Swindon started negotiations on 1 March when clubs are free to sign on loan any rider not signed up - what are you planning on fining them for? Following the rules? Can you just point me in the direction of this MC ruling you keep referring to?

Batch or Hans for the number one spot? Last season was a bit of a formality, not sure this year. Well done Patch in securing Batch for this season.

With today's announcement (March 2nd) It would appear that Swindon have stuck by existing BSPA rules and subsequently have Troy back on loan from Pboro Conversely, Pboro appear to have failed in their attempt to railroad through a new 'adhoc' rule that only suits themselves... Yes its under team 'announcements', as the headline on the BSPA and Swindon websites also says "Swindon announce Batchelor". Really not trying to be difficult, just think its a very cleverly-worded press release to force BSPA MC into changing an earlier decision. (and yes Rosco is in Rugby this weekend, so you never know!!) W hen I see it confirmed, with a statement from the BSPA MC,- rather than just what your promoter says - then I'll fully believe it! nb. unfortunately I'll have to leave it there for the time being as I have other commitments til later on!!
